Machado mashing in bid for ASG selection

Fans can vote exclusively online until July 5

June 1st, 2018

BALTIMORE -- Manny Machado is having a career year, emerging as one of the top offensive players in the American League in his first full season as the Orioles' shortstop. And you can help the superstar reach the 2018 All-Star Game, down the road at Nationals Park.
VOTE: 2018 Camping World MLB All-Star Ballot
All-Star balloting officially opened on Friday, and Machado -- in his final year before free agency -- should be high on plenty of lists. The 25-year-old leads the team with 17 homers and 46 RBIs after homering in his first at-bat in Friday night's game and ranks among the top 10 in numerous AL categories. Machado posted a .392 on-base percentage through the season's first two months and has 72 hits -- 15 of which are doubles -- to go with 31 runs scored on an Orioles team that has struggled offensively all season.
Fans may cast votes for starters at MLB.com and all 30 club sites -- on computers, tablets and smartphones -- exclusively online using the 2018 Camping World MLB All-Star Ballot until Thursday, July 5, at 11:59 p.m. ET.
