Both attended Cal Baptist, with Dale playing basketball and Guadalupe playing volleyball...Christian has two sisters, Laikyn and Ferryn, who both played soccer. Laikyn played collegiately at Colorado State Pueblo and Ferryn played at San Bernardino Valley College...Despite growing up in Riverside, Koss actually grew up a Giants fan. His father, Dale, picked the Giants as his team to go against his Southern California-team rooting friends...Additionally, Dale's favorite player was Will Clark...Was teammates with Giants C Patrick Bailey in 2018 while playing for the Yarmouth-Dennis Red Sox of the Cape Cod League...Was teammates with Bailey again in 2021, with the Scottsdale Scorpions of the Arizona Fall League...Added to the tattoos he already had by getting his last name in Giants lettering (to look like the back of his jersey) tattooed at the top of his back this past offseason. Spent the entire season with Double-A Portland and was named the team’s MVP...Led the Sea Dogs in HR (17), RBI (84), hits (127) and total bases (210). His 84 RBI ranked ninth in Double-A. Made 69 starts at SS, 24 at 2B, 23 at 3B, three in CF and one in LF. With RISP, hit .320 with a .904 OPS (48-for-150, 9 HR). Recorded his lone multi-HR game of the season on 6/30 vs. New Hampshire (4-for-6, two HR, five RBI). Hit .317 with an .876 OPS in May, and .337 with a .922 OPS in July.
