Yankees top prospect Jasson Dominguez was promoted to Low-A Tampa, the Yankees announced on Tuesday, marking the 18-year-old wunderkind’s first exposure to a full-season league.

A day later against the Lakeland Flying Tigers, Dominguez went 2-for-4 as the designated hitter, collecting two hits and two RBIs out of the leadoff spot in Tampa's 6-2 win.

It has been an eventful week for Dominguez, who made his SiriusXM All-Star Futures Game debut at Denver’s Coors Field on Sunday despite not having yet taken an at-bat or played an inning above the complex-league level.

Dominguez homered in batting practice, then lined out on a 106 mph screamer to third base during the game, also striking out twice. He was the youngest player to appear in a Futures Game since Vladimir Guerrero Jr., who was 18 years old in 2017.

While in Denver, Dominguez outlined his time frame for making the Majors, telling SNY: “My goal is to hopefully be there in about three or four years.”

Yankees Minor League hitting coach Rachel Balkovec said that Dominguez’s otherworldly ability seems to come with the right mindset off the field.

“He's one of those guys who just dove into learning English,” Balkovec said. “He has an app that he learns from, and he's always asking me, ‘How do you say this? How do you say that?’ That might sound like a small thing from the outside looking in. But that's pretty rare, actually, especially for his age.

“It’s a leadership quality, because it demonstrates that he's not afraid to fail. He's not afraid to put himself out there, and other players see that. It’s the simple things -- he's picking up trash, working hard. He's doing the right things. He just he goes about his business the right way. You can tell who's emerging as a leader, and he's definitely one of those people.”

MLB Pipeline ranks Dominguez as the No. 24 prospect overall.
