The MLB Ballpark app is your mobile companion when visiting your favorite Major League Baseball ballparks. The official MLB Ballpark application perfectly complements and personalizes your trip with digital ticketing functionality, mobile check-in, special offers, rewards and exclusive content.

Quick Guide: Get Gameday Ready

Take these steps before arriving at Yankee Stadium for a seamless entry:

  • Download & Update: Get the latest version of the MLB Ballpark app and complete your one-time security setup.
  • Transfer to your Guests: Send tickets to each member of your party before arriving. (Tickets cannot be transferred once scanned at the gate.)
  • Add to Wallet: Save tickets to your Apple Wallet or Google Wallet.
    • Note: Please ensure you’ve upgraded your phone to the latest iOS (for Apple Wallet users) and that any ticket within the ticket account hasn’t been downloaded to another fan’s Apple or Google Wallet.
  • No Screenshots: Digital barcodes must be scanned from the MLB Ballpark app or your mobile wallet. Screenshots will not be accepted.

Step 1

Open the MLB Ballpark app on your phone, tap Get Started, and log in to an existing MLB account or create a new account with the same email address used to buy your tickets or accept your ticket forward.

Step 2

Verify your email address by entering the code you receive via email.

Step 3

Enroll & verify your mobile number by entering the code you receive via text message.


Once verified, you will be logged into the MLB Ballpark app and can access your tickets.

Open the MLB Ballpark app on your phone, tap Get Started, and log in to an existing MLB account or create a new account with the same email address used to buy your tickets or accept your ticket forward.

Choose to verify your email or mobile number to continue.

Step 3

  • If Email, verify your email address by entering the code you receive via email.
  • If Phone, verify your mobile number by entering the code you receive via text message or voice call.

Open the MLB Ballpark app on your phone, and log in to an existing MLB account or create a new account with the same email address used to buy your tickets or accept your ticket forward.

Open the Profile tab and select MLB Account Emails.

Enter the email address of a ticketing account which you would like to verify in order to access tickets.

Step 4

Click the VERIFY EMAIL link in the email to allow access to your tickets in the MLB Ballpark app.

Access and View Tickets - Step 1

Open the Tickets tab and select the game for which you'd like to view ticket(s).

You will then be required to log in to your Ticketmaster account using the same email address in order to view your tickets. If you do not have a Ticketmaster account, please create one using the same email address used to buy your tickets or accept your ticket forward.

Once successfully logged in, the Section/Row/Seat will be displayed. You will be able to “View Ticket” and access the terms and conditions governing your ticket via “Ticket Details.” We highly recommend saving your individual ticket to your Apple Wallet (requires iOS 16.4 or higher) or Google Wallet prior to arriving at Yankee Stadium.

Helpful Tip: Make sure to increase your screen’s brightness when scanning this barcode on gameday.

To forward a ticket, go to the Tickets tab and tap on the game for which you have ticket(s) to open the ticket list. Please be advised that not all tickets are eligible for forwarding; if not eligible, the option to forward the ticket will not be available.

Please follow the instructions under Access and View Tickets to first sign in to your Ticketmaster account.

When viewing your tickets for a game, tap on the “Transfer” button. This will enable you to select the ticket(s) you wish to forward.

Tap to select each ticket you wish to forward. A check mark will appear below the selected ticket.

Tap the “Transfer To” button and choose your delivery method.

  • [Select from Contacts] – Your device’s contacts will appear, giving you the ability to select a contact and then the contact’s email address or phone number (if stored in your device).
  • [Manually Enter A Recipient] – Enter the First Name, Last Name, Email or Mobile Number and Note to transfer your ticket(s).

If you received a ticket invitation, you can claim the ticket and load it into the MLB Ballpark app.


Accept a Ticket Forward - Step 1

You will be notified directly by email or receive a link where you can claim tickets from the sender.

You will arrive at a webpage prompting you to log into your My Yankees Account to accept the ticket(s). You can use the same email and password for both your My Yankees Account and your Ticketmaster account.

Both you and the sender will be notified by email when the transaction is complete. The tickets you’ve accepted should now be found in the Wallet on the Tickets tab or on the Home tab on the day of the game.

If you are not seeing your tickets on the Tickets tab: Tap on the Yankees/MLB logo on the navigational bar on the bottom (to the right of the Tickets button), and then click on “Access Tickets Here.” You will then be required to log in to your Ticketmaster account using the same email address in order to view your tickets. If you do not have a Ticketmaster account, please create one using the same email address used to buy your tickets or accept your ticket forward.

If you have logged into your Ticketmaster account but your tickets are not appearing:

  • Please confirm you have logged in with the same email address used to buy your tickets or accept your ticket forward. If you do not have a Ticketmaster account associated with that email address, please create one by clicking “Sign Up” when prompted to log in.
  • If you receive an error message, tap the “Retry” button to reload.
  • If this error persists, please log out of your Ticketmaster account and sign back in to refresh.

Having trouble adding your tickets to your Apple or Google Wallet? It may be for one of the following reasons:

  • You may not be using the latest version of iOS (for Apple Wallet users): Ensure you’ve upgraded your phone to the latest iOS.
  • Your phone may not support the latest iOS which is required to add tickets to your wallet (for Apple Wallet users): Please download the MLB Ballpark app to access your tickets.
  • You may be attempting to add tickets that are already in someone else's wallet. Any tickets purchased from an individual Ticketmaster account can only be linked to one Apple ID or Google account: If another fan needs to access your tickets, please transfer them to their ticket account.

If you are still having trouble adding your tickets to your Apple or Google Wallet, please download the MLB Ballpark app to access your barcode to scan on gameday.

Alternative Methods for Mobile Ticket Access

For tickets purchased on ticketmaster.com

Your confirmation email will contain a link to view your tickets from your mobile browser. Using your mobile device, click on the “View Mobile Ticket” link in your confirmation email.

Log in using your My Ticketmaster Account information.

Tap on the game you are attending under My Events to view your Event Details.

Please Note: To access your barcode to scan on gameday, you must add your tickets to your Apple or Google Wallet or download the Ticketmaster or MLB Ballpark app.

When viewing tickets for a game, tap on the “Transfer Tickets” button. This will enable you to select the ticket(s) you wish to forward.

Click the checkbox on the ticket(s) you wish to transfer to other members of your party attending the game.

Enter your recipient details and tap “Send.”

For season tickets, group tickets, or individual game tickets purchased on SeatGeek

The below actions must take place on your mobile device.

  • Log into your My Yankees Account from your mobile device using your existing email address and password.
  • Once logged in, select My Upcoming Events or Manage My Tickets to view your event details.
    • Select "Transfer" on your mobile device to send to other members of your party attending the game.
    • Please Note: To access your barcode to scan on gameday, you must add your tickets to your Apple or Google Wallet or download the MLB Ballpark app.
