Yankees have special Covenant House ticket offer for May

April 25th, 2022

The Yankees are celebrating Covenant House's 50th anniversary with a special ticket package and pregame ceremony in May.

Fans can buy field-level tickets for the four games from Sunday, May 22, through Wednesday, May 25, for just $50 each. That's the series finale against the AL Central champion White Sox at Yankee Stadium on Sunday and the entire following series against the Orioles from Monday through Wednesday.

Fans can go to www.yankees.com/specialevents to buy tickets to support Covenant House.

Five dollars from every ticket sold will be donated to Covenant House, which provides housing and support services to youth facing homelessness. Yankees general manager Brian Cashman has served on Covenant House's international board of directors for the past 12 years.

The pregame ceremony honoring Covenant House for its 50 years of work will take place on the field before the Tuesday, May 24, game against the Orioles. That game is scheduled for 7:05 p.m. ET.

“I’ve been involved in Covenant House’s mission for more than a decade, and I never cease to be touched by the stories of struggle that have led these young people into its care,” Cashman said in a statement. “These kids arrive at Covenant House with an unfathomable amount of inner strength given what they’ve been through, and Covenant House’s dedicated staff embraces them with the stability, emotional support and day-to-day practical skills that guide them toward becoming the individuals they were meant to be.”

Cashman has also participated in Covenant House's annual Sleep Out event for the past 11 years, sleeping outside overnight to help raise money for Covenant House and show solidarity with homeless young people.

Yankee Stadium hosted the Sleep Out in 2019.
