Oakland Coliseum Security

The A's would like to keep guests informed of our stadium security policies and regulations. The following measures are in place for the safety and comfort of all guests.

Walk-through metal detectors are used at Oakland Coliseum entry gates. Upon entry to the ballpark, fans will have their bags searched and will need to empty pockets before walking through a metal detector. Mobile phones and keys should remain in your pockets during entry. Any open liquids containers need to be empty before you enter the security lines.

The Athletics are committed to creating a safe, comfortable and enjoyable environment. Our staff is here to proactively assist you to help ensure a family entertainment experience. We will ensure your experience through enforcement of our Guest Code of Conduct. Oakland Coliseum is a non-smoking facility.
