Injury: Right shoulder soreness
Expected return: Possibly Opening Day
Status: Withdrew from Classic on Feb. 15, then “didn’t feel great” when playing catch Feb. 19. Exam revealed inflammation. Received a cortisone injection on Feb. 20 and played catch from 60 feet on Feb. 28. Played catch again on March 2. (Last updated March 2)
RHP Steven Wilson
Injury: Back soreness

Status: Wilson has not pitched in Rays camp, as he is dealing with a back issue. That required an injection that will sideline him for another week. He is not expected to be ready for Opening Day. (Last updated Feb. 27)

Injury: Right flexor strain, elbow surgery
