D-backs and Safelite Autoglass Community Programs

Buddy Benches

The Arizona Diamondbacks Foundation and Safelite AutoGlass have teamed up with the Be Kind People Project to help spread a message of anti-bullying and friendship. Twenty-five schools throughout Arizona will receive a special Buddy Bench, presented by D-backs mascot D. Baxter, during a Be Kind People Project school assembly. The Buddy Bench is a place where kids can go to make new friends and a place to build teamwork and morale. Each bench is donated free of charge to the school. Bike Safety

On Friday, June 15, the D-backs and Safelite AutoGlass partnered with the Phoenix Fire Department and Phoenix Police to bring a Bike Rodeo to the Colangelo Branch Boys and Girls Club in Phoenix. Kids at the club received brand new bikes and helmets and took part in bike safety education and an obstacle course.
