What days will Winter Wonderfest at Nationals Park be open to the public?

What are the hours of operation?

Winter Wonderfest at Nationals Park is open from 5:00 – 10:00 p.m. on weekdays, 4:00 – 10:00 p.m. on Saturdays, and 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Sundays. Please note: last entrance into Winter Wonderfest at Nationals Park is two hours before close on all event days.

Is Winter Wonderfest at Nationals Park appropriate for all ages?

Winter Wonderfest at Nationals Park was designed with all ages in mind. The space will feature a variety of activations geared toward children and families, as well as an adults-only area restricted to those 21 and older.

Will the event be held rain or shine?

Winter Wonderfest at Nationals Park will be held rain or shine.

What should I wear to visit Winter Wonderfest at Nationals Park?

Winter Wonderfest at Nationals Park is held outdoors and therefore not insulated from the winter elements. Jackets, hats, gloves, and scarves are strongly recommended, along with comfortable shoes suitable for walking.

Can I re-enter Winter Wonderfest at Nationals Park multiple times?

Re-entry into Nationals Park is not permitted.

Can I bring my dog / pet to Winter Wonderfest at Nationals Park?

While we love your furry friends, please leave them at home. Service animals are the only animals permitted at Winter Wonderfest at Nationals Park. Re-entry will be permitted in case your service animal needs to be relieved.

Is Winter Wonderfest at Nationals Park ADA accessible?

The Winter Wonderfest at Nationals Park field is accessible for wheelchairs and other mobility devices. An ADA entrance is located at the left-most lane of the Center Field Gates. ADA access to the field is available via the third-base ADA Elevator.

TICKETING

Where can I buy tickets?

Tickets can be purchased at nats.com/winter.

How much are tickets?

General admission tickets are $29.50. The price does not include government taxes, which will be applied at checkout.

Is there a group discount?

Parties over 12 are eligible to receive tickets at a discounted rate of $24 plus tax per person. Please reach out to groupsales@nationals.com for group ticket purchases.

Is there a military discount?

Military service members are eligible to receive tickets starting at $24. The price does not include government taxes, which will be applied at checkout.

What is included in my ticket?

Your ticket includes access to all activities at Winter Wonderfest at Nationals Park. Food, beverages and retail items are available for purchase.

Where can I find my tickets?

All tickets must be accessed through the MLB Ballpark App. Guests are recommended to download the MLB Ballpark App and locate their tickets before arriving at Nationals Park. Click here to download the MLB Ballpark App.

Are screenshots of my tickets accepted?

Screenshots of Winter Wonderfest at Nationals Park tickets will not be accepted.

What if I don't have a smartphone?

In the event that you are unable to download the MLB Ballpark App on your phone, please visit the Box Office prior to your entrance to Winter Wonderfest at Nationals Park for assistance. The Box Office is located outside of the Center Field Gates.

Are tickets available in timed entry slots? What time do I need to arrive?

Entry to Winter Wonderfest at Nationals Park is available in one-hour increments starting at 5:00 p.m. on weekdays, and 4:00 p.m. on weekends. Last entrance is two hours before close on each event day.

What happens if I miss my entry slot?

Plans change? Miss your ticket window? No problem! Just see a staff member at the gate, and we’ll get you in as soon as possible as long as you have a ticket for that day.

Can I change my date?

All sales are final. Please confirm your date prior to purchasing tickets.

My child is under 3 years old – do they need a ticket?

No, children ages 3 years and younger do not need a ticket.

I’m a Nationals Season Pass Holder. Do I need a ticket?

Every Winter Wonderfest at Nationals Park attendee over the age of 3 requires a ticket, regardless of Season Pass Holder status.

What is your refund policy?

All sales are final, and tickets are non-refundable.

Is my ticket transferable?

Yes, your ticket is transferable should you no longer be able to attend. Tickets may be transferred to another guest within the MLB Ballpark App.

Will my baby or child be admitted into Après Chalet by Fireball?
Après Chalet by Fireball is restricted to guests 21 and older – no exceptions.

Will non-alcoholic beverages be available in Après Chalet by Fireball?
Yes, non-alcoholic beverage options will be available in Après Chalet by Fireball.

FOOD & BEVERAGE

What kind of food will be at the event? Can I bring my own?
A variety of food options will be available at Winter Wonderfest at Nationals Park, including standard stadium options and event specialties. Single-serving food items may be brought into Nationals Park, as long as they are contained in one of the approved bags under the Nationals bag policy, or carried in your hands so the food items can be safely screened by security.

Will water be available? Can I bring in a reusable water bottle?
Water bottles will be available for purchase throughout the Winter Wonderfest at Nationals Park experience. Guests will be able to bring one clear, factory-sealed or empty plastic water bottle no larger than one liter per person. Juice boxes, insulin containers, and baby food will also be permitted.

TRANSPORTATION

Nationals Park is located in Southeast Washington along the Anacostia River bounded by South Capitol Street to the west, N Street to the north, First Street to the east and Potomac Avenue to the south. Entrance to Winter Wonderfest at Nationals Park will take place at Centerfield Gate.

Driving and Parking

Parking in Garage B & C will be available during Winter Wonderfest at Nationals Park for $27 per vehicle. Guests are encouraged to purchase their parking ahead of time at nats.com/winter. For driving directions to Nationals Park, please visit nats.com/parking.

Metro

Guests attending Winter Wonderfest at Nationals Park via Metro can take the Green Line to the Navy Yard station. Please note that due to WMATA construction, the only available Navy Yard entrance is the east entrance at Elm Street and New Jersey Avenue SE, three blocks away from Nationals Park. Please allow plenty of time when traveling to and from the ballpark via Metro.

Rideshare Services & Uber

Get a safe, affordable ride to and from the ballpark at the tap of a button. There are a few suggested pick-up locations located near the ballpark:

  • N St. SE and New Jersey Ave. SE
  • L St. SE between First St SE and New Jersey Ave. SE
  • M St. SE and Half St. SE

Please do not ask to be picked up or dropped off on South Capitol Street as this is a busy highway, and stopping there is dangerous.

ADDITIONAL QUESTIONS

Are strollers allowed?
Strollers are allowed in Nationals Park but will not be allowed on the field level where the majority of activations take place. Free stroller parking will be available at the entrance to field level at Section 107.

Is the Nationals bag policy in effect?
Yes, the Nationals bag policy will be in effect. Permitted bags are limited to:

  • Clutch bags measuring 5” x 7” x ¾” or smaller.
  • Clear plastic, vinyl or PVC bags measuring 16” x 16” x 8” or smaller; provided, however, that buckles, grommets, hardware or other décor may not conceal any part of the bag.
  • Diaper bags or bags used for ADA/medical reasons measuring 16” x 16” x 8” or smaller.

Are the snow tubing slides suitable for adults too?
Yes! The snow tubing slides are made for guests of all ages. For the safety of all guests, snow tube riders cannot be shorter than 42". Please note that each participant must be able to ride by themselves, and parents may NOT hold children on their lap while participating on the slide.

Will cash be accepted at the event?
Nationals Park does not accept cash as a form of payment for tickets, concessions, or retail. There will be one location inside Winter Wonderfest at Nationals Park where cash can be exchanged for Nats Bucks.

Are there lockers or an area to lock away my items?
Binbox offers storage space to guests attending Winter Wonderfest at Nationals Park. Binbox opens 30 minutes prior to gates opening and closes 30 minutes following the event's conclusion each night. Two sizes of lockers are offered at differing price points. Please note that all bags placed within a Binbox locker are subject to security inspection.

Will you have wheelchairs for rent to use during my visit?
Wheelchairs will not be available for rent during Winter Wonderfest at Nationals Park.

Are flashing lights / strobes used?

Please be aware that Winter Wonderfest at Nationals Park features moving, blinking lights and loud zones. Guests who become over-stimulated or need a quiet space are encouraged to use the sensory room located behind Section 140.

Where is first aid located?

Two first aid stations are located at Section 107 on the concourse and in the center of the field near the ice tubing slide.

Where is lost & found located?

Lost & Found is located at Main Guest Services on the concourse.

Are professional cameras allowed?

Professional cameras with detachable lenses or audio video recorders are not allowed at Winter Wonderfest at Nationals Park.

Are drones allowed?

Drones and unmanned aircraft systems are not allowed at Winter Wonderfest at Nationals Park.

Are tripods / selfie sticks allowed?

No poles, staffs, or selfie sticks of any kind are allowed at Winter Wonderfest at Nationals Park.
