FAQs

What is the difference between a Phillies Theme Night and a Phillies promotion?

Phillies Theme Nights are special ticket offers for select games throughout the season. They provide an opportunity for fans with similar interests to enjoy a game together at Citizens Bank Park. In order to receive exclusive Theme Night elements such as ticket discounts, unique limited-quantity giveaway items or exclusive game-day activities, fans MUST purchase Theme Night tickets. In addition to exclusive elements for Theme Night ticket purchasers, a Theme Night may also include some ballpark-wide entertainment, which can be enjoyed by all fans.

Phillies promotions do not require a special ticket purchase. Phillies promotions are ballpark-wide events and giveaways that are listed on the schedule. Most events are open to all fans (some with limited availability), and giveaway items are distributed to every patron who enters Citizens Bank Park, as long as they meet certain criteria (e.g. children 14 and under, women 15 and over, etc.).

Can anyone purchase a Theme Night ticket? If so, how?

Yes, anyone can purchase a Theme Night ticket via the following avenues:

  • Online: phillies.com/themenights
  • Phone: 215-463-1000 (Groups of 25+ should call 215-463-5000)
  • In-person: at any open Citizens Bank Park ticket window

If it is determined in the sole discretion of The Phillies that any individual or entity did not adhere to the established ticket limits (if applicable), or is re-selling the majority of the purchased Theme Night tickets on the secondary market, the purchaser may be classified as a Ticket Reseller. The Phillies, in its sole discretion, may, but is not obligated to, cancel and refund any Theme Night ticket purchase made by anyone determined to be a Ticket Reseller.

Theme Night ticket purchaser acknowledges and agrees that tickets are subject to dynamic pricing and based on availability. Pricing is subject to change at any time without notice. Scheduled date and/or time is also subject to change. In the event of a change, ticket purchasers will not be entitled to a refund.

Do all Theme Nights have an exclusive giveaway item? If not, what other elements are included with the event?

Each Theme Night is unique. Not all Theme Nights include a giveaway item. Some Theme Nights only consist of a special ticket discount and/or fundraising opportunity, and some may only include special game-day entertainment.

Is everyone who purchases a Theme Night ticket eligible to receive the exclusive giveaway item?

Theme Night giveaways are limited to a pre-determined amount of purchasers which varies by event, and they sometimes sell out. If a giveaway item has sold out, there will be a “sold out” message on the Theme Night webpage when you make your purchase. If you purchase by phone or in person, the Phillies representative will clarify the status of the giveaway item.

How can I pick up my Theme Night giveaway item?

Fans whose purchase includes a giveaway item will receive a coupon that must be redeemed on game day. Please check your coupon for specific pickup instructions. Pickup is typically at the Theme Night redemption table, which is located at The Break behind Sections 210/211. Giveaway items must be picked up by 90 minutes after the scheduled game start time. There is a limit of one Theme Night giveaway item per person.

I’m a Season Ticket Holder. Do my tickets include the Theme Night giveaway items?

Season Tickets are not part of any Theme Night giveaways. However, Season Ticket Holders are welcome to purchase Theme Night tickets via the methods described above. Season Ticket Holders may contact The Phillies Sales Office at 215-463-5000 with any further questions or concerns.

Can I exchange my game tickets for a Theme Night ticket for the same game?

Unfortunately, regular game tickets cannot be exchanged for Theme Night tickets. In order to participate in a Theme Night’s exclusive giveaway or activity, you must purchase a Theme Night ticket. If the Theme Night includes a giveaway item, a valid Theme Night giveaway coupon is necessary to receive the giveaway.

I purchased tickets for a Theme Night, but lost my coupon. How can I pick up my item?

The Phillies Sales Office is not responsible for Theme Night tickets or coupons that are lost or stolen. These tickets or coupons may be replaced at the sole discretion of The Phillies. The Phillies may impose an additional charge to the account holder in its sole discretion for such replaced tickets or coupons. If distributing tickets in advance, it is beneficial for the account holder to note the section, row and seat that each guest holds. This specific information will be needed if replacement tickets are issued. In the event that your tickets are lost or stolen, please contact The Phillies Sales Office at 215-463-5000 or [email protected] to discuss any options. If The Phillies Sales Office replaces any Theme Night tickets, the replacement tickets will be honored over the original tickets in all cases and the original tickets will be null and void.

There is a limit of one Theme Night giveaway item per person.

I was unable to pick up my Theme Night item by 90 minutes after the scheduled game start time. How do I retrieve it?

Giveaway items are not guaranteed if not picked up by 90 minutes after the scheduled game start time. If you are unable pick up the item by then, please call The Phillies Sales Office at 215-463-5000 or e-mail [email protected] and, if supply allows, we will arrange for you to drop off the coupon and pick up the item.

If I can’t make the game, am I able to collect my giveaway item?

Giveaway items are not guaranteed if not picked up on the day of the game. However, if supply allows, the Phillies will honor your Theme Night coupon after the event date. Call The Phillies Sales Office at 215-463-5000 or email [email protected] to make arrangements to drop off the coupon and pick up the item.

If I have multiple Theme Night game tickets, can I pick up items for other members of my Group?

No. There is a limit of one Theme Night giveaway item per person.

How do I know if I correctly purchased a Theme Night ticket and will receive the exclusive giveaway item?

If you have successfully purchased a Theme Night ticket which includes a giveaway item, you will receive in the mail, in addition to your game ticket, a separate coupon for the giveaway item. This coupon must be presented on game day in order to receive the item.

Are my Theme Night tickets with a giveaway item available via Print-at-Home?

No. If you purchased Theme Night tickets and they include giveaway items, the tickets and coupons cannot be printed at home. Tickets and coupons will be mailed to you, but delivery may be delayed (if purchased at least 7 days before the game), or may be available for pickup from any open Citizens Bank Park ticket window, either in advance or on the day of the game. Sales/payments may not be canceled by the purchaser.
