Spent the majority of the season in Triple-A with the Yankees’ Scranton/Wilkes-Barre (78 games) and the Giants’ Sacramento (39)..Also played seven games for Double-A Somerset...Played 60 games at catcher, 23 at third base and 42 at designated hitter...Threw out 19 of 57 stolen base attempts (33.3%)...Hit .319 with 75 runs, 20 doubles, three triples, seven home runs, 57 RBI, 20 stolen bases and an .827 OPS in the 117 combined Triple-A games...Ranked inside Triple-A’s top 10 in batting average (.319/eighth), OBP (.406, eighth) and hits (147, tied for sixth)...Traded by the Yankees alongside RHP Trystan Vrieling, IF/OF Parks Harber and LHP Carlos De La Rosa on the July 31 trade deadline in exchange for Giants closer RHP Camilo Doval...Was batting .317 with an .839 OPS for Scranton/Wilkes-Barre at the time of the trade...Hit .322 with an .800 OPS once joining the Giants organization...Played 16 games for Tigres de Aragua in the Venezuelan Winter League.
