JUPITER, Fla. – , the Marlins' top prospect per MLB Pipeline, was among the seven players reassigned to Minor League camp on Tuesday morning as part of the first round of camp cuts.

The 21-year-old White, who ranks as MLB Pipeline’s No. 17 overall prospect, was recently diagnosed with a Grade 1 right oblique strain. Since the left-hander has a three- to four-week recovery timeline, his Spring Training action had already come to a close.

White made his Grapefruit League debut Thursday in Dunedin against the Blue Jays, allowing two runs in a 28-pitch inning. White will likely begin his 2026 season at Triple-A Jacksonville, where he ended his ‘25 with the Triple-A national champion Jumbo Shrimp.

Joining White at Minor League camp, which began on Monday, are fellow non-roster invitees and southpaws Dale Stanavich and Patrick Monteverde, righties Stephen Jones, Evan McKendry and Samuel Vasquez and catcher Sam Praytor.

There are 65 players remaining in big league camp.
