Vote NOW to have Judge, DJ start ASG

June 28th, 2021

Phase 2 of voting for All-Star starters is underway, and Aaron Judge and DJ LeMahieu need your help to get to the 2021 Midsummer Classic in Denver.

The top three vote-getters at each position (top nine outfielders) have advanced to the second phase of voting to determine the American League and National League starters for the Midsummer Classic, to be played on July 13 at Colorado’s Coors Field.

At second base, LeMahieu is joined by the Blue Jays’ Marcus Semien and Jose Altuve of the Astros.

A three-time All-Star and the reigning AL batting champion, LeMahieu entered play on Sunday slashing .271/.345/.377 with seven home runs and 29 RBIs in 72 games. He enjoyed a four-hit game on Saturday against the Red Sox, including a homer, and he leads the Yankees with 79 hits.

In the outfield, Judge earned selection alongside the Angels’ Mike Trout, the Twins’ Byron Buxton, the Astros’ Michael Brantley, the Rangers’ Adolis García, the Blue Jays’ Teoscar Hernández and Randal Grichuk, the Orioles’ Cedric Mullins and Alex Verdugo of the Red Sox.

Judge, a two-time All-Star, entered play on Sunday slashing .285/.382/.506 with 16 home runs and 38 RBIs in 72 games. Judge paces the Yankees in runs (42), homers, RBIs, total bases (133) and all three triple-slash categories.
