Status: Has resumed outdoor running and undergone several PRP injections to speed healing. Not yet running bases. Status: Pitched one inning of live batting practice July 18, throwing 15 fastballs to Anthony Volpe and Ali Sánchez at Yankee Stadium. Threw 20 pitches in another live BP session on July 22. Faced hitters again July 27, a “two up” session. (updated July 27)

Injury: Stress fracture of first rib on right side
IL date: June 5 (retroactive to June 2; transferred to 60-day IL July 18)
Expected return: Possibly August
