Earlier today, RHP Michael Tonkin was claimed off waivers by the Minnesota Twins.

On Monday, the Yankees optioned OF Duke Ellis to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre. Today, he reported to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre.
