General Information

Q: Where is the event located?

A: The Winter Warm-Up (WWU) is hosted on the second and fourth levels of the Hyatt Regency St. Louis at The Arch, 315 Chestnut Street, St. Louis, Missouri 63102.

  • Sat., Jan 13th from 9 am - 5 pm
  • Sun., Jan 14th from 9 am - 5 pm
  • Mon., Jan 15th from 9 am - 3 pm

Admission Tickets

Q: Is a ticket required for entry?

A: Yes, all fans must prominently display their Admission Ticket for entry every day of the event.

Q: Where can I purchase an Admission Ticket?

A: WWU Admission Tickets can be purchased:

Beginning Friday, November 24:

  • Online - Friday, November 24 at 10 am through Thursday, January 4 at 12 noon
  • Busch Stadium Box Office - Open Monday through Friday 10 am - 4 pm from Monday, November 27 through Thursday, January 11 (Closed for holidays: November 23, November 24, December 25-30, January 1)
  • WWU Admission Tickets can also be purchased at the event at the sales booth in the main hotel lobby. 

**Please Note: Admission Tickets are no longer available at Cardinals Clubhouse Stores.**

Q: How much do Admission Tickets cost?

A: Winter Warm-Up prices are listed below.

  • Fans 16 and over - $40
  • Kids 5 to 15 - $10
  • Kids under 5 - FREE

*Members of the military, police and fire departments with an active ID will receive one free adult Admission Ticket which must be obtained in person at the Busch Stadium Box Office (starting November 24 - January 11) or at the Winter Warm-Up.

Q: If I purchase online, how will I receive my Admission Ticket(s)?

A: All Admission Tickets that are purchased by January 4, 2018 at 12 noon will be received in the mail prior to the event.

All Admission Tickets purchased online will be mailed to the billing/shipping address of the purchaser.

Admission Tickets purchased after January 4, 2018 can ONLY be picked up at Will Call.

A photo ID matching the name on the original order or a print out of the confirmation email is required to pick up your purchase.

Q: When purchasing online, can I have items mailed to a different address other than my own?

A: Yes! Just be sure to enter the correct mailing address when prompted.

Q: Can I receive a refund on my admission ticket if I am unable to attend?

A: No, unfortunately all Admission Tickets are non-refundable. Cardinals Care appreciates your donation to help kids in the community.

Autographs

Cardinals Care is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged Autograph Tickets. It is recommended that you safeguard your tickets the same way you would cash. Tickets are the sole responsibility of the ticket purchaser, and tickets cannot be reissued or reprinted.

Q: What is an Autograph Ticket?

A: Some players require a specific donation to Cardinals Care, so an autograph ticket guarantees fans the opportunity to obtain a player's autograph.

Q: How can I purchase an Autograph Ticket?

A: Autograph Tickets will go on sale Monday, December 11 at 12 noon.

Autograph Tickets are NOT FOR RESALE.

***Please note: There will be no "Early Bird" pre-sale at the hotel.***

Q: If I purchase online, how will I receive my Autograph Ticket(s)?

A: No, many players sign autographs free of charge throughout the weekend.

Free Autograph Ticket Policy - NEW THIS YEAR!

For the convenience of our fans, ALL 2018 free Autograph Tickets will be available online beginning Monday, December 11 at 12 noon through Thursday, January 11 at 12 noon.

  • A limited number of free Autograph Tickets will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • Free Autograph Tickets will be limited to TWO tickets per player, per person.
  • Free Autograph Tickets are NOT FOR RESALE.

Q: If I acquire free AutographTickets online, how will I receive my free Autograph Ticket(s)?

A: NEW THIS YEAR! All free Autograph Tickets that are secured by January 4, 2018 at 12 noon will be received in the mail prior to the event.

Free Autograph Tickets secured after January 4, 2018 can ONLY be picked up at Will Call.

All free Autograph Tickets secured online will be mailed to the billing/shipping address of the purchaser.

Q: Why is a donation required for some players?

A: Winter Warm-Up is the largest fundraising effort organized by Cardinals Care. All proceeds benefit Redbird Rookies and charitable grants to community groups who help kids.

Q: What items can I bring to get signed?

A: Most players will sign items including but not limited to baseballs, photos, posters, bats, gloves, jerseys, seat backs, hats, helmets, and bases. Please note that it is up to each player as to what he will or will not sign.

Q: How many items can I bring to get signed?

A: Autographs are limited to one item per Autograph Ticket.

Q: Can I take photos with the players?

A: Due to the time restrictions and number of fans who want autographs, posed photos with the players are prohibited.

Q: How do I know when certain players will be signing?

A: Please refer to the Autograph Donation List or Daily Schedules.

Q: How long do most players sign?

A: Typically on one day for one or two straight hours.

Q: Are Autograph Tickets transferable?

A: Once tickets are picked-up by the original purchaser, they are fully transferable; however, not for resale.

Q: Where can I pick-up my tickets?

A: All tickets purchased prior to January 4, 2018 at 12 noon will be mailed to the address provided. All tickets purchased after January 4, 2018 will be available at Will Call. You must present a photo ID matching the name on the original order or the e-mail confirmation received at the time of order to pick-up your purchase.

Q: When and where can I get in line for autographs?

A: All tickets are numbered. All player autograph sessions will be in the Grand Ballroom on Level 4. Please refer to the Autograph Donation List or Daily Schedules for players signing times.

Q: What if I miss a player's signing time?

A: All tickets are non-refundable. Must be present at player's designated autograph time to receive autograph. If the signing time is missed, the opportunity is lost.

Q: What happens if I lose my player's Autograph Ticket?

A: Cardinals Care is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged Autograph Tickets. It is recommended that you safeguard your tickets the same way you would cash. Tickets are the sole responsibility of the ticket purchaser, and tickets cannot be reissued or reprinted.

Q: What happens if I have a ticket for a player who doesn't attend the event?

A: You will automatically receive a full refund.

Q: What if I need to change the mailing address or other personal information for my online purchases?

A: Please call the ticket line at (314) 345-9000.

Auction Information (Silent & Live)

Q: When are your auctions?

A: We have two (2) silent auctions each day of the Winter Warm-Up as well as two (2) live auctions each day.

For the silent auctions the times are:

  • Open 9 am - Close 11:30 am and Open 1 pm - Close 3 pm on Saturday
  • Open 9 am - Close 11:30 am and Open 1 pm - Close 3 pm on Sunday
  • Open 9 am - Close 11 am and Open 12 pm - 2 pm on Monday

Our live auctions will be on the main stage:

  • 11 am and 2 pm on Saturday
  • 11 am and 2 pm on Sunday
  • 10:30 am and 12 noon on Monday

Q: If I win an auction item, how do I pay and redeem my item(s)?

A: You pay and take your item(s) with you at the close of each auction. We accept cash or credit card.

Q: How do I know that my auction item(s) are legitimate?

A: Each item comes with a Donation Acknowledgement from Cardinals Care.

Cardinals Care Store

Q: What kind of things are in the Cardinals Care store?

A: All kinds of hidden treasures! You can find things like; discounted hats, jerseys, photos and other unique collectibles. The Cardinals Care store is not a vendor; things that are purchased here will be a contribution to the charitable event.

Q: What are the hours of the store?

A: The Cardinals Care store will be open during the duration of the Winter Warm-Up.

Items Allowed

Q: Are outside food and beverages permitted?

A: Outside food and beverage are not allowed in hotel meeting spaces and public areas. However, there will be food available for purchase at the Winter Warm-Up.

Q: Can I bring a camera?

A: Both still and video cameras are allowed, as long as they do not interfere with other fans, players, or staff. No photos or footage may be reproduced unless given permission by the Cardinals.

Stadium Tours/Cardinals Museum

Q: Are tours of Busch Stadium available during the Winter Warm-Up?

A: Yes. Guided tours of Busch Stadium will be offered during the 2018 Winter Warm-Up each day between 10 am - 3 pm These tours will be offered at the regular tour prices BUT will include the Cardinals Locker Room*. Beat the rush and purchase your tickets now at cardinals.com/tours. Tickets will also be available for purchase at the Museum/Tours booth on Level 2 at the Winter Warm-Up. A portion of the proceeds will benefit Cardinals Care.

*The Winter Warm-Up is the only time each year that the Cardinals Locker Room is available for tours.

Q: Will the Cardinals Museum be open during Winter Warm-Up?

A: Yes. The Cardinals Hall of Fame and Museum, located on Level 2 of Cardinals Nation at Ballpark Village, will be open from 10 am - 6 pm daily. Museum entry is included in all stadium tour ticket purchases or tickets can be purchased to only visit the museum. Tickets can be purchased at cardinalsnation.com or at our booth at the Winter Warm-Up.
