About the Project
The Crocker Amazon Fields Project will bring state-of-the-art fields, covered batting cages, upgraded lighting and restrooms, enhanced landscaping and walkways, new dog parks and gathering spaces for all to San Francisco.
For decades, these fields have been the hub where San Franciscans come together but the city is currently facing a significant shortage of playing fields – unable to meet the growing demand. The renovation project will substantially increase access to high-quality fields and gain roughly 2,000 additional hours of play time each year, or about 1,300 extra practices or games.
