Ticket Trade Program

Ticket Trade, our new ticket exchange program, provides Season Ticket Members with more flexibility than ever in managing your tickets.  

  • How do I access Ticket Trade?
    Ticket Trade is only available through your My SF Tix account. To use Ticket Trade:
    1. Login to MySFTix
    2. Within the My Giants Ticket Inventory tab, scroll down and select Exchange Tickets from the Ticket Action dropdown
    3. Click the game you want to trade out of (you can only trade one game at a time)
    4. Select the game you want to trade into
    5. Follow the steps to complete the trade

    Q. Can I trade tickets over the phone or at the Box Office?
    A. Ticket Trade is an online feature available through My SF Tix only

    Q. Is there a limit to the number of tickets I can trade during the season?
    A. You are eligible for 20 trades per seat associated with your Season Ticket Membership. 

    Q. Can I trade out of any game?
    A. You can trade out of any 2019 regular season game. 

    Q. Can I trade into any game?
    A. You cannot trade into Opening Day (4/5), the New York Yankees Series (4/26-28) or 9/29. This list is subject to change.

    Q. Can I trade into a seating category other than the seating category associated with my season tickets?
    A. Trading across seating categories is permitted.

    Q. Is there a deadline to trade tickets?
    A. Ticket Trade is available up until 48 hours before first pitch

    Q. How do I access the tickets that I traded into?
    A. Traded tickets will be sent via mobile delivery, accessible in the Ballpark app.

    Q. Can I trade multiples games at once?
    A. You are only able to trade one game at a time, ticket for ticket. For example, if you are trading two tickets, you must select two tickets to trade into.


    Q. Can I trade more tickets of a lower value for less tickets of a higher value?
    A. Tickets can only be traded at a 1:1 ratio. For example, you cannot trade four tickets associated with a lower tiered/priced game or seating category for two tickets for a higher/priced game or seating category.

     

    Q. How do I access the tickets that I traded into?
    A. Traded tickets will be sent via mobile delivery, accessible in the Ballpark app.

    Q. Is there a cost to trade tickets?
    A. If you are trading into a higher tiered/priced game or seating category, there will be a cost. As a benefit to Season Ticket Members, that cost will be the season price, not the market price.

    Q. What happens if I downgrade my seating category or trade into a lower tiered/priced game?
    A. You will earn Ticket Trade Value for trades that result in a balance due to you. For example, trading into a lower tiered/priced game or downgrading your seating category.

    Q. What can I use my Ticket Trade Value for?
    A. Ticket Trade Value can be applied to future purchases through the Special Offers tab in My SF Tix (only). Special Offers consist of additional tickets, special event add ons and more. 

    Q. Can I combine my StubHub or Consign-Back credit with Ticket Trade Value?
    A. StubHub or Consign-Back credit are separate from Ticket Trade Value and cannot be combined.

    Q. Does Ticket Trade Value carry over into the next season?
    A. Ticket Trade Value expires at the end of the regular season and will not be carried over to future seasons or Postseason play.

    Q. Can I post a traded ticket on StubHub for resale?
    A. Yes, traded tickets can be posted on StubHub for resale


    Q. Can I Forward a traded ticket?
    A. Yes, traded tickets can be forwarded to another person

    Q. Are traded tickets eligible for another trade?
    A. No, traded tickets are not eligible for another trade.

    Q. Can I trade my parking passes?
    A. Yes, parking passes can be traded for parking passes, but not game tickets.

    Q. Can I trade tickets for ADA tickets?
    A. Yes; however this transaction is not available via My SF Tix. Please call our Season Ticket Hotline at 415-972-BALL (2255) and press 0 to trade your tickets for ADA tickets.

How do I RSVP for an event?

  1. Open the Ballpark app
  2. Tap the "Giants", located at the bottom right
  3. Tap "Upgrade and Memories"
    Note: New User to Fan Hub? Tap "Sign up" and create an account using the email address associated to your season tickets. Once logged in, tap "Hide" to return to the calendar view.
  4. Swipe through dates to a specific event. Tap event to RSVP. (event dates are emailed to Season Ticket Members monthly)
  5. Tap "Redeem" to RSVP for the event. 
    Note: Your account has been preloaded with event points for the season. Max of two guests per event.
  6. Tap "Redeem" to confirm your RSVP
  7. Complete! Tap "Show" to access your event.
    Note: Please reference "How to access your event on game days?" for instructions (below)

How do I access my event on game days?

    1. Open the Ballpark app
    2. Tap the "Giants", located at the bottom right
    3. Tap "Upgrade and Memories"
    4. Tap "Fan Hub", located in the upper right 
    5. Scroll to see your RSVP's and tap the event you are attending
    6. Present this screen to staff to check in
      Note: Staff will tap "Redeem" when you arrive

    How do I transfer my event to my ticket partners?

      Click here for a step by step tutorial to transfer your event

      1. Open the Ballpark app
      2. Tap the "Giants", located at the bottom right
      3. Tap "Upgrade and Memories"
      4. Tap "Fan Hub", located in the upper right  
      5. Scroll to see your RSVP's and tap the event you are transferring
      6. Tap "Transfer"
      7. Enter the recipients email and tap "Transfer"
        Note: Your recipient will receive an email confirmation with further instructions.

      Someone transferred an event to you? Here's what you do.

      1. Open your email confirmation and tap "Accept your tickets now" from your phone.
      2. Open the Ballpark app
      3. Tap "Yes" to confirm
      4. Complete! Your event ticket is now in your FanHub account.

      • Redeem your discount by presenting your digital STM Card in the Ballpark app.
        1. Open the MLB Ballpark app. Need to download the app? CLICK HERE 
        2. Tap on the SF logo in the bottom menu
        3. Scroll down to Ticket Membership and tap Season Ticket Member Card  
        4. Present the barcode for scanning!
        5. Discount card not loading? Make sure your Giants ticket account is linked to your MLB.com account
      • How do l link my Giants ticket account to my MLB.com account?
        1. Tap today in the bottom menu
        2. Tap the Settings icon (top right corner)
        3. Tap Ticket Accounts and Link Ticket Account
        4. Select San Francisco Giants from the dropdown menu and enter the email address associated with your Giants season ticket account
        5. Tap Verify Email Address
        6. Check your email to grant access and finalize the linking
        7. Navigate back to the Season Ticket Member Card

      Are there any restrictions?

      • Your discount does not apply to ticket purchases, memorabilia, gift cards, embroidery/applique, Championship jewelry, and shipping charges. Discount cannot be combined with any other discounts and is valid only on items in stock. Other restrictions may apply.

      Ticket Partners

      Ticket Partners play an important role in Season Ticket Membership. Season Ticket Members may select up to three (3) partners to receive the STM discount and Ticket Trade benefits.

      • How do I add a Ticket Partner?
        • Secure your partner passes via My SF Tix
          1. Log in to My SF Tix
          2. Click the Special Offers tab
          3. Click View Offer for 2019 Ticket Partner
          4. Click Continue and follow the steps
        • Forward the passes to your ticket partners (up to three)
          1. Click the My Giants Ticket Inventory tab in My SF Tix
          2. Select Forward Tickets from the Ticket Action dropdown
          3. Select DECEMBER 2019 from the Month dropdown
          4. Click the 2019 Ticket Partner pass and select the passes you want to forward
          5. Select/add your partner's information from the friend list on the right hand side
          6. Click Continue and follow the steps to finalize the forward - the forward process confirms the recipient as your Ticket Partner
          7. Your Ticket Partners will need to download the Ballpark app and link their accounts to access their STM Card*
             

      *It will take 5-7 business days for your partner's STM cards to be loaded in the Ballpark app.

      • What benefits are my Ticket Partners eligible for?
        • Ticket Partners get the 20% discount at concession/merchandise stands and Giants Dugout Stores and access to Ticket Exchange.
      • How many Ticket Partners can I add?
        • You can add up to 3 (three) Ticket Partners to your account each season. Each partner will have their own STM Card in the Ballpark app and access to Ticket Trade within their My SF Tix account.
      • Can I change my Ticket Partners during the season?
        • Once your three (3) ticket partners have been added, they cannot be changed.
      • When will my partners get access to these benefits?
        • After forwarding the partner pass to your Ticket Partners, it will take 5-7 business days for their STM card to be loaded in the app.
      • Is there a deadline to add partners?
        • Ticket Partners must be added by Tuesday, April 30 to be eligible for the 2019 season. However, the sooner you add your Ticket Partners, the sooner they will have access to their benefits!
