Italian Heritage Night

Plaza Performance: Experience the tradition and pageantry of Italy in O'Doul Plaza with a performance by the world-renowned Sbandieratori di Faenza.

Play Ball Kid: James and Luca, representing the SFIAC, will help kick off the game with tonight's ceremonial "Play Ball!" announcement.

First Pitch: Throwing out tonight's ceremonial first pitch is Ivan Samorì, a longtime leader of the Sbandieratori di Faenza and a renowned figure in the tradition of Italian flag-throwing. With more than 40 years dedicated to preserving this centuries-old art form, Ivan proudly represents the rich heritage and culture of Italy.

Pregame Interview: SFIAC Foundation President Bill Isetta will participate in a pregame interview, sharing more about the organization's mission and impact within the Italian-American community.

Beneficiary: A portion of proceeds from Italian Heritage Night will benefit the SFIAC. The San Francisco Italian Athletic Club ("SFIAC") Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to celebrating Italian heritage. The Foundation focuses on community events, revitalization and engagement that enhances the Italian culture and history of North Beach.
