Join us for a 'nothing like it' evening filled with energy, music and community — celebrating love, inclusion and the belief that baseball is for everyone. Stick around after the final out for a spectacular fireworks show set to music by LGBTQIA+ artists. Partial proceeds from each Special Event ticket will benefit local LGBTQIA+ organizations.

About the Artist

Favianna Rodriguez is an interdisciplinary artist, cultural strategist and social justice activist based in Oakland, California. Her art and praxis address environmentalism, gender justice, climate change, racial equity and immigrant rights. Favianna leads art interventions around the United States at the intersection of art, justice and cultural equity. Her forms include visual art, public art, film, cultural organizing and institution building.

About the Artwork

This piece is rooted in the idea that the diversity of people, identities and expression is as essential to our communities as biodiversity is to the natural world. Drawing inspiration from native species, such as the Allen’s hummingbird, the agave and the California poppy, Favianna blends organic forms with fluid shapes that symbolize movement, queerness and interdependence. Through vibrant color and patterns, the work celebrates the beauty and brilliance that LGBTQIA+ people bring to our community.
