Description: Get ready for roaring fun at the ninth annual Cal Night at Oracle Park, where UC Berkeley students, alumni, and faculty come together to show off their school spirit. Turn up the roar from first pitch to last out as the Giants face off against the Pittsburgh Pirates. Be sure to stick around after the game for a fireworks show above McCovey Cove. Partial proceeds from each special event ticket will benefit organizations within the Cal community.

Prior to the game enjoy access to the exclusive Triples Alley event space that offers sweeping ballpark views, complimentary food and beverage (including beer and wine) and the ability to watch pregame warmups from the warning track. Inside Triples Alley, VIP Experience ticketholders can attend a panel discussion between notable current student athletes Jaydn Ott, Fernando Mendoza, Rachel Klinker and Teagan Wy. Jaydn Ott is a star Junior running back on the football team. Last season, he earned honorable mention All-American and All-Pac-12 honors. Jaydn rushed for 1,315 yards with 12 touchdowns on the ground, while adding 25 receptions for 169 yards and two touchdown catches, as well as three kick returns for a team-high 144 yards and one touchdown on his first career kick return at any level of football. He is hosting this yearās Cal Football Summer Reading Challenge to combat summer learning loss.
Fernando Mendoza is a sophomore quarterback on the football team who is majoring in business administration at the Haas School of Business. Fernando stepped in and became the starting quarterback for the football team last season in week 6, completing 153 passes for 1,708 yards, with 14 touchdown passes in the 2023 season. Fernando earned Pac-12 Offensive Freshman Of The Year honorable mention honors and a spot on the Pac-12 Fall Academic Honor Roll. Fernando is originally from Miami, Florida, and recently partnered with a local Berkeley burrito shop to launch the Mendoza Burrito, where all proceeds from each sale are being donated to the National MS Society, in honor and support of his mother, to raise awareness for Multiple Sclerosis.
Rachel Klinker is a graduate student on the womenās swim and dive team, who earned a bachelorās degree in Legal Studies at Cal in spring 2023. She was named a First Team All-American in the 800 free relay and has placed in numerous events in the Pac-12 and NCAA Championships throughout her career. She was named by USA Swimming to the 2024 World Championships roster in Doha in February of this year, and competed in the 200 butterfly. Rachel is a CSCAA Scholar All-American and will swim in the Olympic Trials to qualify for the 2024 Olympics in Paris this summer.
Teagan Wy is a sophomore goalkeeper on the womenās soccer team. She has been involved with the US Youth National Teams for the past four years, participating in 10 different occasions across various age levels, starting at the U14 level. She participated in a U20 camp in Chula Vista as one of the three-best American goalkeepers at the U20 level and was the starting goalkeeper for the United States at the 2018 CONCACAF Championship as she led the USA to a Championship by beating Mexico, El Salvador and Portugal.
