How to use Nationals Wallet

Frequently Asked Questions

What is Nationals Wallet and how does it work?
Nationals Wallet is a centralized payment system integrated into the MLB Ballpark app that allows fans to quickly and easily pay for tickets, concessions and merchandise at the ballpark. Fans only need to store their credit card information once, and they can use the Nationals Wallet for all in-venue purchases without having to re-enter payment details, while also being able to access any stored value/eCASH, discounts or Club-provided benefits. This simplifies the in-venue purchasing process by providing a single payment method for food and merchandise while streamlining transactions, reducing friction and allowing fans to focus on enjoying the game rather than worrying about utilizing multiple payment methods for one transaction.

What are the main features and benefits of using Nationals Wallet?
Nationals Wallet centralizes your payment options, making your ballpark experience smoother and more enjoyable.

  • One-Time Setup: Add your payment card once, and you never have to enter it again.
  • All-In-One Wallet: Use online or in-app for ticket purchases, or at the ballpark for concessions and merchandise.
  • Seamless Integration: Pay with Nationals Wallet across multiple platforms (in-app, in-person, various locations at the ballpark).
  • Access and Combine Additional Benefits: Access Club-provided entitlements such as loaded ticket value or eCASH while combining with your payment card on file for one combined scan & pay.

How do I add a new payment card into my Nationals Wallet?
Fans can add new cards to Nationals Wallet in two ways: by adding a new card through the MLB Ballpark app or by saving a card on file when purchasing tickets to a game. Adding a card through the MLB Ballpark app will also add the card to the fan's MyTickets account and vice versa.

To add a new card through the MLB Ballpark app, access Nationals Wallet from the Home Tab. If you do not have a card saved on file, follow the instructions to add a card. After adding a card on file, fans have the option to save multiple cards to their wallet by selecting the "Add" button. When fans save a card on file during a ticket purchase, the card will be available in the MLB Ballpark app the next time that fan visits the ballpark.

How do I remove a payment card from my Nationals Wallet?
Fans can remove a card in the MLB Ballpark app by tapping on the card and selecting "Remove this Card" in the wallet.

Fans can also remove a card by logging into their account on nationals.com/mytickets, selecting My Account and the Payment Info option to manage cards on file.

If your payment card is associated with a reoccurring payment, you are unable to remove it. Please contact your Nationals Service Representative.

How does "Scan & Pay" work? Will any of my eCASH or loaded values be applied?
