Nationals Career Opportunities

We have a robust internship program with paid internship opportunities in a variety of departments across business operations and baseball operations. The Nationals Internship Program is a great opportunity for anyone looking to gain valuable experience in the sports industry. Many of our internships run from March through October and we offer some summer internships as well.
Internship requirements vary based on the needs of the department, but the following are typically required:

• Must be able to work in person in Washington, DC (or the location of the internship)
• Must be able to work 34 hours a week
• Must be able to work the entire term of the internship

Helpful Tips for Applicants:

• Complete the application in full: Enter all of your education, work experience and other details which will enhance your candidate profile.
• Submit a resume (and cover letter): All candidates should submit their most up-to-date resume detailing their education and experience. Submitting a cover letter, while not always required, shows you are willing to put in extra effort. Cover letters allow you to expand upon your resume and share information you otherwise would not be able to share.
• Consider the location: If you need to relocate in order participate in the internship, it is highly encouraged to start working out the details prior to accepting a role.
