A-to-Z Guide for #BrewersOnDeck

This Sunday, we'll be reunited with our favorite Brewers players, coaches and alumni at Brewers On Deck, our annual Fan Fest that takes place at the Wisconsin Center in downtown Milwaukee.

 

So what do you need to know to have a fun and enjoyable experience? Read on for our A-to-Z guide.

ATTENDEES

Over 60 members of the Milwaukee Brewers including players, alumni coaches, front office executives and broadcasters are scheduled to participate in Brewers On Deck!

AUTOGRAPHS

Details on the autograph and programming schedules are listed at brewers.com/ondeck. The schedules are subject to change.

Players and select coaches/alumni will each sign up to 250 autographs, ranging from free of charge to $25. Proceeds go to Brewers Community Foundation. Autograph opportunities are for signatures on photo cards provided by the team. The Brewers cannot guarantee that players will sign other memorabilia. Personalization of items is solely up to the discretion of each player.

Please note that cash is the only acceptable form of payment for autographs. In addition, several Brewers alumni will be available for autographs at the Interactive Stage from 11:15 a.m.-12:15 p.m. A single charge of $25 gets you the entire group (about 6 players). Manager Craig Counsell and his coaching staff will be available for autographs free of charge at the Interactive Stage from 2:15 p.m.-3:00 p.m.

BANNERS & SIGNS

Banners and signs cannot be larger than 18″x 24″ and cannot include inappropriate content. NO handles or poles can be attached.

BINOCULARS & CAMERAS

Binoculars are fine to bring to the event and you would be sorry if you didn't bring your camera to capture all the fun and excitement of the day! Video cameras are permitted as well. Fans can also post their photos from the event to Twitter and/or Instagram using the hashtag #BrewersOnDeck for a chance to be featured on our social media platforms.

BREAKFAST WITH THE BREWERS

Fans who pre-purchased tickets for the Breakfast with the Brewers VIP package should enter at the 501 W. Wells Street entrance of the Wisconsin Center. Upon entry you will be directed to a registration table where you will receive your table number. The entrance and registration will open at 8:00am, with breakfast beginning at 8:30am.

BREWERS COMMUNITY FOUNDATION (BCF)

A portion of the proceeds from the #BrewersOnDeck event will benefit Brewers Community Foundation, but there are even more ways to support BCF and their philanthropic work during the event. Here's what they have in store for you:

· 50-50 Raffle: Tickets for the 50-50 Raffle will be sold from 9:45am-12:00 p.m. and the winner will be announced at 12:45 pm at the Interactive Stage. 2019's winning total was more than $4000.

· Hunger Task Force Food Drive: Don't forget to bring jars of peanut butter with you to donate to Hunger Task Force! Donations can be dropped off at the main entrance, located on the corner of Wisconsin Ave and Vel R. Phillips Ave (formerly 4th St.). Last year more than 1000 pounds of food was donated!

· Live Auction: Join us at the Interactive Stage for a live auction beginning at 12:15 p.m. and bid on 6 amazing packages/experiences such as signed Christian Yelich merchandise, a suite at a 2020 Brewers home game, and more!

· Treasure Hunt Sale: Stop by our location, behind the Main Stage seating, to take advantage of fabulous deals on bobbleheads, merchandise, signed memorabilia, and more!

BREWERS MUSEUM

The Brewers Museum at the event will feature memorable artifacts from throughout the history of the team.

CARRY-INS

Consistent with our game-day carry-in policy, fans may not bring any cans, glass containers or alcohol into the Wisconsin Center. Soda, water or juice must be in factory-sealed plastic bottles. Fans may bring food items into the building using appropriate containers.

Bags, purses, fanny packs or soft-sided coolers will be searched.

Hard-sided coolers are not permitted.

Guests MAY carry-in the following items:

· Still-photography cameras (Compact)

· Video cameras

· Jackets or blankets after being patted down or searched

· Banners, signs and flags without an attached pole (items cannot be affixed in any way to impeded the view of other fans). (See above).

All permitted items will be inspected at the doors prior to entry.

Guests MAY NOT carry-in the following items:

· Drum Sticks

· Alcohol

· Noisemakers, whistles, air horns, musical instruments (plastic horns vary per event)

· Glass bottles, metal cans, etc.

· Professional camera equipment, video cameras, tripods, etc.

· Animals (except service animals)

· Weapons, explosives, pepper spray, tear gas, etc.

· Fireworks, slingshots, smoke bombs, laser pointers, etc.

· Large bags, large backpacks, suitcases, briefcases, beach bags, etc.

· Water guns, toy/replica weapons, squirt bottles, soap bubbles, etc.

· Beach balls, Frisbees, balloons, brooms, skateboards, roller blades, skates, etc.

· Flags/Signs larger than 18″ x 24″

· Sticks, poles, rods, drum sticks

· Confetti or streamers

· Umbrellas

CONCESSIONS

Just like at Brewers games, there will be many concession stands open for fans to purchase food and beverage.

DOORS OPEN

Brewers On Deck will take place at the Wisconsin Center (400 W. Wisconsin Avenue) on Sunday, January 27 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Doors to the facility will open at 7 am. Doors to the event open at 10 a.m.

FAN & KIDS CAVE

Play games with the Brewers! Games are free and Brewers players will be rotating through the areas all day! This year there will be two separate "cave" areas, with one designated solely for kids and one designated for those who are kids at heart.

FAN SCREENING

All persons and items entering Brewers On Deck are subject to search.

FOOD DRIVE

Hunger Task Force, Milwaukee's only Free & Local food bank will be collecting food and cash donations at the entrances.

At this year's event, Hunger Task Force will host a food drive for peanut butter. Donations may be dropped off at the main entrance to the Wisconsin Center, located at 4th Street and Wisconsin Avenue

"GATES"

Brewers On Deck will take place at the Wisconsin Center (400 W. Wisconsin Avenue) on Sunday, January 27 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Doors to the facility will open at 7 am. Doors to the event open at 10am.

GRAB BAGS

Unfortunately, there will not be any Brewers grab bags for sale at this year's event.

HASHTAG

The official event hashtag is #BrewersOnDeck! Use it on Twitter and Instagram for your chance to be featured on our platforms.

INTERACTIVE STAGE

The Brewers Interactive Stage will feature video flashbacks from alumni and current players; a roundtable discussion with members of the Milwaukee media who cover the team on a regular basis; autograph sessions and more. See the complete schedule at brewers.com/ondeck.

KIDS ENTERTAINMENT

Returning this year is an expanded area just for kids, located on the first floor of the Wisconsin Center. This area will include an infield for Kids Clinics, a Kids Cave, a Kids-Only Stage and more.

At the clinics, our young fans can help sharpen their batting, fielding and pitching skills by learning baseball fundamentals from the pros like  Cecil Cooper, Gorman Thomas, Jim Gantner and more!

At the Kids-Only Stage, there will be Kids Q&As with Lorenzo Cain, Eric Sogard and Corbin Burnes, plus a few kids-only autograph sessions.

Finally, in the Kids Cave, our youngest fans can play games with the Brewers! Games are free and Brewers players will be rotating through the area all day!

MAIN STAGE

The Main Stage will include various Q&A sessions with top Brewers baseball executives, the coaching staff and game shows. Here's a schedule with descriptions of this year's entertainment:

10:15 a.m. - Welcome/Introduction - President-Business Operations Rick Schlesinger will welcome fans to Brewers On Deck.

10:45 a.m. - Brewers New Uniform Fashion Show - Select players will give fans another peek at the new uniforms to be worn during the 2020 season.

11:45 a.m. - Meet the Management - Chairman and Principal Owner Mark Attanasio, President - Baseball Operations and General Manager David Stearns, Senior Vice President and Assistant General Manager Matt Arnold, Brewers' broadcasters Brian Anderson, Matt Lepay and Craig Coshun will answer fans' questions.

1:00 p.m. - Brewers Game Night - A fan favorite from last year, players pair up in three teams in a competition featuring three rounds of some of the most popular game shows - Charades, Heads Up! and Pictionary.

2:30 p.m. - Brewers Face Off - Brewers pitchers and hitters compete against each other in a game show similar to Family Feud.

4:00 p.m. - Crew Nite Show - Players have fun with games from their favorite late night shows.

MERCHANDISE

The Brewers Team Store will have a full set up with the latest Brewers merchandise for sale.

PARKING

Photo sessions with players are also scheduled throughout the day in designated photo areas.

SEASON SEAT HOLDERS

All 2020 Full Season Seat Holders who paid in full by our September deadline receive early entry to the event. All Season Seat Holders with a plan of 20 games or more can take advantage of the Season Seat Holder Only photo line by showing their 2019 Season Seat Holder ID card. The Season Seat Holder Headquarters will be located on the first level inside the ballroom. Please contact your Account Executive for details on these exclusive opportunities!

There will not be a separate Social Media Stage this year because we've incorporated our entertainment into various other elements of the event! Social media is everywhere!

RE-ENTRY

Guests may exit and re-enter Brewers On Deck, provided they receive a hand stamp on their way out of the event.

TICKETS

Tickets for Brewers On Deck are SOLD OUT to this event.

You will not be able to purchase tickets at the door on the day of the event.
