Home Plate: Matrix Midwest & Outer Market Stations

In addition to over-the-air games on KMOV Channel 4 and other Gray Media stations across Cardinals Nation, the Cardinals and Gray are also partnering for additional live games and content in 2026.

Highlights include:

  • Fastball: a next day one-hour, edited and condensed replay of the prior day's game, airing at noon and 5 p.m. on Matrix Midwest for most Cardinals games
  • At least twelve Memphis Redbirds (AAA affiliate) games airing live on Matrix Midwest (schedule TBA)
  • At least ten Springfield Cardinals (AA affiliate) games airing live on Matrix Midwest (schedule TBA)

In-Market Streaming

Will I be able to stream Cardinals games?

Yes! Cardinals.TV on MLB.TV includes access to all local Cardinals broadcasts on a variety of devices through the MLB App.

How will it work and how much will it cost?

Cardinals.TV in-market streaming packages can be purchased for $99.99 per year or $19.99 per month. Subscriptions for the 2026 season will be available in February.

Are there any blackouts?

In-market Cardinals.TV subscribers can stream ALL local Cardinals broadcasts with no blackouts. (This means all locally produced broadcasts – national TV games on ESPN, Peacock/NBC, and FOX are not available on the Cardinals.TV platform). Cardinals.TV subscribers who are outside the Cardinals home territory can still watch Cardinals games while they are travelling and are only subject to the opposing team’s local blackout restrictions, if applicable (i.e. if you're traveling in Philadelphia you would not have access to a Cardinals vs. Phillies game while in Phillies TV territory).

Will I be able to watch Cardinals games if I have a standard MLB.TV package, but not the Cardinals.TV package?

If you already have the MLB App downloaded, you’re one step closer to watching Cardinals baseball! Cardinals fans living within the Cardinals home television territory must purchase a Cardinals.TV subscription to stream Cardinals games. Only fans who live outside the Cardinals home market will be able to watch Cardinals games with the standard MLB.TV package.

Yes. Cardinals.TV will be available on a variety of cable and satellite providers. Specific providers and channel locations will be announced closer to the start of the season.

What channel will Cardinals.TV be on?

Specific channel locations and cable and satellite providers will be announced later this offseason. We expect that the channel locations will be located near other sports programming on your guide.

How do I watch Cardinals baseball if I live outside of the local area?

MLB.TV subscribers can continue to watch Cardinals games on MLB.TV outside of the local area.

Can I authenticate access to Cardinals games through the MLB App by using the credentials from my pay-TV provider?

Yes, authenticated pay-TV providers will be able to authenticate to Cardinals.TV through MLB.TV by Opening Day.

Does Cardinals.TV replace FanDuel Sports Network Midwest?

Yes. Locally distributed Cardinals games are now produced and distributed by Major League Baseball under the name Cardinals.TV beginning with the 2026 season.

Select regular season, special event, and Postseason games are unavailable on MLB.TV domestically and internationally due to certain Major League Baseball national exclusivities. Live audio of all 30 MLB teams is included with Cardinals.TV subscriptions.
