About Josh Wilson:
Born in Arkansas, raised in Texas, and living in Tennessee, Josh Wilson is a self described introvert with an aversion to the spotlight. Originally intending to be a studio musician and songwriter, he never dreamed he'd eventually be the one behind the mic, but God had other plans.
Wilson has spoken on stage and in his recordings about his struggles with anxiety, depression, addiction and recovery. Jesus tells us, "In this world, you will have troubles," but right after that, he says, "take heart, for I have overcome this world." Josh is honest about both the struggles we face and the hope we find in following Christ.
Since signing his first record deal with Capitol Records, Wilson has become a staple at radio, amassing multiple top 10 Billboard hits, including "Savior, Please," "I Refuse," "Fall Apart," "Carry Me," "Before the Morning," "That Was Then, This Is Now," "Dream Small," and "Revolutionary." He's toured with some of the genre’s biggest acts, including Third Day, Steven Curtis Chapman, Matthew West, and Casting Crowns. Wilson is a multi-instrumentalist and live looping enthusiast, and has been known to play and record as many as 20 instruments on stage.
Josh lives in Nashville with his wife, Becca, and their son, Asher. When he's not making music, he enjoys mountain biking, reading, and video games.
