Amy Tovar serves as Senior Vice President & General Counsel for the Giants, providing counsel to all departments within the organization. Entering her sixth season, she handles a wide range of legal matters involving business transactions, litigation, intellectual property, real estate, and other initiatives.
Prior to joining the Giants, Tovar served in the Obama Administration at the Department of Transportation and worked as a litigator at Munger, Tolles & Olson in San Francisco. She currently sits on the California ChangeLawyers Board of Directors. A Peninsula native, Tovar attended Stanford University and Stanford Law School, and now lives in Burlingame with her husband, Ben, and children, Jack and Carolina.
