Curt Casali joined the Giants as an advisor to baseball operations prior to the 2026 season. Casali played 11 years in the Majors with the Tampa Bay Rays (2014-2017), Cincinnati Reds (2018-2020, 2023), San Francisco Giants (2021-2022, 2024) and Seattle Mariners (2022).

The former catcher played 543 games across 11 seasons, batting .218 with 157 runs, 61 doubles, a triple, 48 home runs and 162 RBI. Defensively, Casali had a career catcher’s ERA of 3.57, with his best in a full season coming in 2021 with the Giants (2.72).

Casali, who retired following the 2024 season, appeared in 1,030 career games between the Majors and minors from 2011-2024.
