O's release 2014 Spring Training schedule

The Orioles officially released their 2014 Spring Training schedule on Wednesday afternoon, with Grapefruit League play scheduled to open Friday, Feb. 28, with a 1:05 p.m. ET road contest against the Tampa Bay Rays.

The Orioles, who will begin their fifth consecutive spring in Sarasota, Fla., will host the Toronto Blue Jays in Ed Smith Stadium's home opener March 1 at 1:05 p.m.

Baltimore will face eight different opponents in a 15-game home slate, hosting the Boston Red Sox and Rays three times each and the Minnesota Twins, Pittsburgh Pirates and Philadelphia Phillies twice. The Atlanta Braves, New York Yankees and Blue Jays will each visit Ed Smith Stadium once to cap the Grapefruit League campaign.

Baltiomre's 15 road games will include four trips to play the Rays, Red Sox and Twins, two trips to play the Pirates and Yankees and one visit to the Blue Jays and Phillies' home parks.

Single-game tickets go on sale Jan. 25, 2014, for all 15 of the Orioles' home games.
