'Two minutes with ...' O's outfielder Steve Pearce

SARASOTA, Fla. -- The "Two minutes with …" spring series continues with Steve Pearce, who is competing for a bench spot. Pearce, who was with the Orioles for part of 2012, played in 44 games last season due to a nagging wrist injury.

Favorite food: Chicken pillows. My wife found the recipe on Pinterest. [It's like a dough-wrapped chicken puff.]

Favorite movie: 300.

Special talent: I'm good at ping pong. [Pearce beat reigning clubhouse champion J.J. Hardy this spring].

If I wasn't a baseball player I'd be… : A professional golfer.

Favorite offseason place: Our family has a river house right on the panhandle [of Florida]. It's a nice place to relax.

Prized possession: My phone. It's got pictures and numbers on it. If there was a fire and my family is safe, that would be something I would want to grab.
