What is the Guaranteed Gate Giveaway program?
- The Guaranteed Gate Giveaway program grants access for Reserved Birdland Members to guaranteed their gate giveaway by using the original tickets in their plan and entering the Birdland Reserved Member Gate at Gate C by the 5th inning.
Who is eligible for the Guaranteed Gate Giveaway program?
Full Season (81-Game), Half Season (40-Game), and Partial Season (20-Game) plan holders have access to guaranteed giveaways using tickets in their original plan and entering through the Birdland Reserved Member Gate at Gate C by the 5th inning.
This is only valid for tickets in the original reserved plan. Additional ticket purchases, flex member tickets, and tickets exchanged are not eligible.
What do I need to do to guarantee my giveaway?
- Eligible tickets will appear with a golden background in the MLB Ballpark app. You must enter through the Birdland Reserved Member Gate at Gate C with an eligible ticket by the 5th inning to guarantee your giveaway.
Can I use my eligible golden ticket to enter through another gate?
- You may enter any gate using your eligible golden ticket; however, your giveaway will not be guaranteed. You must enter through the Birdland Reserved Member Gate at Gate C for your giveaway to be guaranteed.
If I forward my tickets to friends is their giveaway guaranteed?
- Yes, eligible tickets from an original reserved plan will remain golden when transferred to friends or family. They must enter through the Birdland Reserved Member Gate at Gate C to guarantee their giveaway.
Where is the Birdland Reserved Member Gate?
- The Birdland Reserved Member Gate at Gate C is located on the south side of the ballpark closest to our on-site parking lots (Lot A, LEE, B/C, FGH, D) and near the HI-CHEW Kids Corner.
Is the Birdland Reserved Member Gate open on games without a giveaway?
Yes, the Birdland Reserved Member Gate is open for all 81 regular season home games, including games without a gate giveaway.
All Reserved (Full, Half, or Partial Plan) Birdland Member can use the tickets in their original plan to enter through the Birdland Reserved Member Gate at Gate C.
Tickets in an original reserved plan are golden in the MLB Ballpark app, noting their eligibility to enter through this gate.
Please note that tickets added onto a reserved plan, exchanged tickets, flex member tickets, or other single game tickets will be orange and are not eligible to enter through this gate.
If I’m a Reserved Member who exchanged into the game or added tickets onto my original plan, can I use those to enter through the Birdland Reserved Member Gate at Gate C?
No, only tickets in an original reserved plan are eligible.
We encourage fans without guaranteed giveaway eligible tickets to arrive early to secure their item.
Birdland Members can also use their rewards points to redeem for the item while supplies last, when they are added to the ‘Marketplace’ tab of their Birdland Rewards account at 10:00 a.m. on the morning following the promotional game.
If I’m a Flex Member, can I access this program?
No, only tickets in an original reserved plan are eligible.
We encourage fans without guaranteed giveaway eligible tickets to arrive early to secure their item.
Flex Birdland Members can also use their rewards points to redeem for the item while supplies last, when they are added to the ‘Marketplace’ tab of their Birdland Rewards account at 10:00 a.m. on the morning following the promotional game.
What should I do if some members of my party do not have an eligible ticket?
Only fans with an eligible golden ticket can enter through the Birdland Reserved Member Gate at Gate C.
If your party has a mix of eligible tickets and regular tickets, you have two options:
Arrive early as a group and enter through Gate A, D, or H to secure your item while supplies last
Have guests in your party with eligible golden tickets enter the Birdland Reserved Member Gate at Gate C while the remaining guests enter Gate A (located right next to Gate C).
What happens if I enter through another gate that is already out of gate giveaways? Can I still come over to the Member Gate area and get my guaranteed giveaway?
- Your giveaway is only guaranteed by entering through the Birdland Reserved Member Gate at Gate C. Once inside the ballpark, if you entered through another gate, we are unable to grant access to the item at the Birdland Reserved Member Gate. We encourage all eligible members to enter through the Birdland Reserved Member Gate at Gate C regardless of their arrival time to guarantee their item.
Can I still guarantee my giveaway if I cannot attend the game?
You must be present and enter through the Birdland Reserved Member Gate at Gate C to receive the item. There is a limit of one promotional item per ticketed fan.
If you are unable to make the game, we encourage you to forward your tickets to a friend who can use your ticket to enter through the Birdland Reserved Member Gate at Gate C and guarantee their giveaway.
Birdland Members can also use their rewards points to redeem for the item while supplies last, when they are added to the ‘Marketplace’ tab of their Birdland Rewards account at 10:00 a.m. on the morning following the promotional game.
How do giveaways with age-eligibility work?
- Even if you are using a golden guaranteed giveaway ticket, you must still meet the age qualifications to receive age-sensitive items (i.e. 21 & older, or kids 12 & under).
What sizes are available for giveaways?
- For all Adult and Kids jersey and t-shirt giveaways, sizes will be M and XL unless otherwise noted. Sizes cannot be guaranteed and will be subject to availability.
If I purchased tickets on the secondary market from a Birdland Member, are they eligible for this program?
- No, only tickets from the original reserved plan are eligible for this program.
Does this program include special ticket package items?
The Guaranteed Gate Giveaway program is only for gate giveaways, and does not include Special Ticket Package items.
Birdland Members looking to access special ticket package items have the following options:
Purchase a special ticket package at Orioles.com/ticketpackages. If you already have tickets to the game, you may exchange them for another game.
Use your rewards points to access remaining limited-edition items beginning at 10:00 a.m. on the morning following the Special Ticket Package game, while supplies last.
