2021 Season Updates

As of 05/05/2021

Since the start of the season, and to comply with New York State’s physical distancing requirements, the New York Yankees have been selling a limited number of tickets in specified temporary seating locations ("Ticket Pod(s)") to select home games ("Limited Capacity Games"). In cooperation with New York State, the City of New York and Major League Baseball, the New York Yankees have received approval to increase attendance to 33% capacity at Yankee Stadium, with select designated seating sections for fully vaccinated fans beginning with the Game scheduled for Friday, May 21. More information about fully vaccinated designated seating sections will be announced at a later date.

Negative COVID-19 tests (PCR or rapid antigen COVID-19 test for fans 3 years and older) or proof of full COVID-19 vaccination in the form of a CDC-approved COVID-19 Vaccination Record Card and temperature checks are required for entry into Yankee Stadium through Sunday, May 9. Please note the required timeframes associated with each test option so you can plan ahead accordingly. For more information on COVID-19 testing and proof of COVID-19 vaccination, click here.

Guests, holding valid game tickets, who cannot present proof of either a negative COVID-19 test within the required timeframes or proof of full COVID-19 vaccination will not be allowed inside Yankee Stadium. NO COVID-19 Testing will be available at Yankee Stadium.

For Games beginning Friday, May 21, and pursuant to New York State and Department of Health Guidelines, COVID-19 testing and proof of full COVID-19 vaccination will no longer be required for entry into Yankee Stadium. More information will be announced at a later date.

Limited Capacity Games: Currently, the Limited Capacity Games will be all regular season home games through Sunday, June 6. We will continue to monitor capacity restrictions as they apply to Yankee Stadium and determine whether more Ticket Pods can be made available for purchase.

Please review the information at yankees.com/gameday carefully before attending an event at Yankee Stadium.

SEASON TICKET LICENSEE TICKET POD RELOCATION (ONLINE)

Season ticket licensees will be automatically enrolled online via their My Yankees Account in the Ticket Pod relocation process ("Relocation") and will receive the first opportunity to purchase tickets in Ticket Pods to the available Limited Capacity Games. Such licensees will have the opportunity, but not the obligation, to participate in the Relocation to purchase tickets in Ticket Pods to applicable Limited Capacity Games, subject to availability. At this time, season ticket licensees should have received information regarding the Relocation via email.

Season ticket licensees who choose not to participate in (or are not selected to participate in) the Relocation will automatically receive: (a) a credit equal to the established price of the original tickets purchased for the games now designated as Limited Capacity Games which may be applied towards the purchase of tickets for the 2021 or 2022 regular season (subject to availability); or (b) the benefit of the Rain Check Policy. Season Ticket representatives may also be contacted to seek a refund via the original method of payment to the account holder of record.

Ticket Pods are subject to change based on changes to capacity restrictions and/or physical distancing requirements. Once capacity restrictions and/or physical distancing requirements permit (as determined by the New York Yankees), tickets in Ticket Pods and plan type will revert to and be replaced with tickets in the season ticket licensee's original seating locations and plan type for any remaining games covered by the original season ticket plan.

Additional terms and conditions apply.

Until further notice, the capacity of the Stadium during 2021 will be limited in accordance with New York State’s physical distancing requirements. As such, the number of tickets and temporary seating locations available for Limited Capacity Games are EXTREMELY LIMITED.
