Season Ticket Auto Renewal Program ("STAR") Frequently Asked Questions
For the current and next Regular SeasonQ: What Payment Method will be used for my next Regular Season Ticket Plan (“Ticket Plan”)?
A: The Payment Method (i.e., credit card, debit card, etc.) for STAR enrollees stored in your My Yankees Account and previously used to pay for your Ticket Plan will be charged the amount(s) and on the date(s) and frequency in accordance with the Payment Option you selected and set forth on your Regular Season - STAR invoice.
To view your current Payment Method, visit the Renewal Information tab in your My Yankees Account and click on "My Current Payment Info."
Q: Why is my Payment Method invalid?
A: There are many reasons why the Payment Method you stored in your My Yankees Account and previously used to pay for your Ticket Plan may be invalid including but not limited to an expired credit card on file, a credit card on file which will expire during the payment frequency you selected or multiple credit cards used for a single payment.
Q: How can I update my Payment Method?
A: To update your Payment Method via your My Yankees Account, click "View/Pay Invoice" and select your Regular Season - STAR invoice. Proceed through the invoice process and under the Payment Options, click "Edit/Add" next to the Payment Method section. You must submit your Regular Season – STAR invoice payment for your new Payment Method to be saved and applied. Please note that payment will not be charged until the Renewal Date.
Q: When will my stored card be charged for my Ticket Plan?
A: The Payment Method you stored in your My Yankees Account previously used to pay for your Ticket Plan will be charged the amount(s) and on the date(s) and frequency in accordance with the Payment Option you selected and set forth on your Regular Season - STAR invoice.
Q: How do I view the Payment Option I selected for the next Regular Season?
A: To view the Payment Option you selected, visit the Renewal Information tab in your My Yankees Account and click on "My Current Payment Info."
Q: How do I change the Payment Option I selected for the next Regular Season?
A: To update the date(s) and frequency that you will be charged via your My Yankees Account, click "View/Pay Invoice" and select your Regular Season - STAR invoice. Proceed through the invoice process and under the Payment Options, click "Select Payment Option" to view your valid Payment Options. You must completely submit your Regular Season – STAR invoice payment for the new Payment Option you selected to be saved and applied. Please note that the first payment in any Payment Option will not be charged until the Renewal Date.
Q: When will I receive notice about charges under STAR?
A: You will receive a renewal notice (the “Renewal Notice”) prior to the date that your Ticket Plan will automatically renew (the “Renewal Date”).
Q: Where can I view the price of my Ticket Plan renewal?
A: The price of your Ticket Plan renewal is set forth in your Regular Season – STAR invoice. To view your Regular Season - STAR invoice, visit your My Yankees Account and click "View/Pay Invoice" or refer to the information provided in your Renewal Notice.
Q: What happens to the "preferred pricing" on my Postseason Invoice if I cancel my enrollment in STAR?
A: This "preferred pricing" is only available to STAR enrollees. If your Ticket Plan does not automatically renew because you are not enrolled in STAR, then your Postseason pricing will be adjusted to the public sale price, and the remaining balance will be charged in order to receive your Postseason Tickets. Please reference your My Yankees Account for up-to-date Postseason pricing.
Q: Am I still eligible for the "auto-charge option" for the Postseason if I cancel my enrollment in STAR?
A: The "auto-charge option" is only available to STAR enrollees. If your Ticket Plan does not automatically renew because you are not enrolled in STAR, then your Postseason pricing will be adjusted to the public sale price, and the remaining balance will be charged in order to receive your Postseason Tickets.
Q: Can I cancel my STAR enrollment?
A: You may cancel STAR enrollment at any time. Any STAR cancellation until the date specified in the Renewal Notice (which will be before the Renewal Date) will be effective on the date the cancellation is provided. Any STAR cancellation after the date specified in the Renewal Notice (which will be before the Renewal Date) will be effective for the Regular Season immediately following the Regular Season set forth in the Renewal Notice.
Q: How do I cancel my STAR enrollment?
A: You may cancel your STAR enrollment by sending your cancellation to staroptout@yankees.com, by contacting your Ticket Account Representative or via your My Yankees Account.
Q: Can I cancel STAR enrollment and still renew my Ticket Plan?
A: Please contact your Ticket Account Representative for questions about Ticket Plan renewal after cancelling your STAR enrollment. Please review the details of the STAR program.
