Director of Information Technology
As the Director of Information Technology for the St. Louis Cardinals, Perry Yee oversees the planning, support and development of the team's various information technology systems.
Perry's team is responsible for overseeing the Cardinals' hardware and software acquisitions, network design, data security, systems design, operational support and project management. The scope of Perry's responsibilities include oversight of the team's technology needs at Busch Stadium, as well as their new development within Ballpark Village, the team's Spring Training complex in Jupiter Florida and the team's various minor league facilities.
Perry has over two decades of experience in the technology field including providing technological guidance and support on topics ranging from the operating systems/desktop level to servers, infrastructure design, IT security, software application development and more.
Prior to joining the St. Louis Cardinals, Perry worked as a technology consultant for NuPont. Prior to that, Perry held various progressively responsible positions in the technology field, working with Thomson Reuters for more than ten years and their predecessor in St. Louis Bridge Information Systems for fourteen years. Perry's career has afforded him the opportunity to work internationally in Hong Kong, Tokyo, Singapore, Melbourne and London.
Perry has an undergraduate degree from Washington University in Electrical Engineering, as well as a Master's from Webster University in Business and Organizational Security. Perry has completed his course work for his doctoral degree from Webster and is in the process of completing the related dissertation.
A graduate of St. Louis University High School, Perry is a lifelong St. Louisan and Cardinals fan. Perry and his wife Szu Ching reside in St. Louis with their two daughters Shalom and Nesiah.
