Groups FAQ

What is the minimum size for a group outing?
The minimum size to be considered a group is 13 tickets. Additional savings are available for groups of 25 or more.  

How do I reserve my group and when is final payment due?
You can reserve your group at any time. To hold tickets we require an initial payment of half the anticipated order total. 

Can I purchase a group in your premium clubs?
Yes, we sell groups in our DeltaSky360 Club, PNC Diamond Club and also sell a variety of nightly suites.  

What time can my group enter Nationals Park?
The Center Field Gates and Center Field Social open 2 hours before first pitch. The entire ballpark including suites and hospitality spaces, opens 90 minutes before first pitch. 

Where can my group park or order a bus parking pass?
To purchase a bus parking pass, please book with your ticket sales representative. For traditional parking passes visit www.nationals.com/parking 

What happens if the game I purchase is postponed and rescheduled for a different date?
For game delay and postponement information, visit www.nationals.com/rain

In the event a regulation game, as defined by Major League Baseball, is not played due to weather or any other reason, your original game ticket will constitute a rain check that can be either: (a) used for admission to the rescheduled game, if any, subject to certain doubleheader limitations; or (b) the paid value of your tickets to a postponed or cancelled game can be redeemed for tickets to a future 2018 regular season game, subject to blackout dates and availability. Under no circumstances will a refund be given.

If attending the announced make-up game, your original game ticket will need to be used to gain entry to Nationals Park. Please retain this ticket as it must be used for admittance if attending the rescheduled game. The Nationals are not responsible for lost or stolen tickets. Season Plan Holders choosing to use their rain check ticket for a different 2018 regular season game must visit www.nationals.com/exchange for processing. Single game ticket holders choosing to use their rain check ticket for a different 2018 regular season game must bring their ticket from the cancelled game to the Nationals Park Box Office for processing. Rain check requests cannot be mailed in or be handled over the phone.

Any rain check exchanges must occur before the makeup date for the rescheduled game. Under no circumstances will a refund be given.

Can I purchase concession value for my guests to use around the stadium?
Yes! Concession credit can be added on to any tickets. We offer concession credit in increments of $15, $20, $25, $35, or $50. This value will be added on to each ticket and can be redeemed at most concession and merchandise stands in the park. 
 
What age do children require a ticket to enter Nationals Park?
Tickets are sold by the chair, not by the age, so if you would like your child to have their own seat, they will require their own ticket. All children under the age of two and sitting on a lap do not need a ticket. 

How are tickets sent?
Group leaders can choose to receive tickets via 2-Day UPS, Will Call or Email. Email is only available for groups of 25 or less.
 
When will I receive my tickets in the mail?
Tickets will be mailed out within 48 business hours of your group's full payment being received. Tickets will not be mailed out if payment is not received at least two weeks before the event. If payment is received with less than two weeks before the event, clients can pick up their tickets at Will Call or have their tickets emailed to them (email option is only available for groups of 25 or less). 

Can I leave tickets at Will Call for my guests to pick up?
We do not allow group tickets to be dropped off at any Will Call to be picked up by members of your party. We strongly encourage groups to distribute tickets to their guests before game time.

I reserved a group space at Nationals Park, who can I contact regarding catering for my party?
Please contact your group sales representative to rent nightly suites, conference rooms, and other hospitality areas. Once your area is booked you will be connected with Levy Restaurants, the Nationals food service provider, allowing you to customize your event menu.

Can I get a scoreboard message for my group?
Yes! We provide complimentary scoreboard messages for all groups of 50 or more members. All scoreboard message requests must be made at least 72 business hours prior to your event and must be made directly to your group sales representative.
