Baltimore Orioles Military Spotlight Fan Nomination Official Rules

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO NOMINATE OR RECEIVE RECOGNITION. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE THE CHANCES OF SELECTION. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW. ALL DISPUTES WILL BE RESOLVED SOLELY BY BINDING ARBITRATION, AND PARTICIPANTS AND HONOREES WAIVE THE RIGHT TO BRING CLAIMS IN A CLASS ACTION FORMAT. TICKETS AND PARKING ONLY ARE PROVIDED; TRAVEL, CASH, OR OTHER ITEMS ARE NOT INCLUDED.

The Orioles Military Spotlight program (the “Program”) provides fans the opportunity to nominate an active-duty service member or a U.S. military veteran (each, a “Winner”) for honorary in-game recognition during Monday through Saturday home games. Selected winners will receive tickets and parking to a designated home game and will have the opportunity to be recognized in Oriole Park at Camden Yards, on Orioles.com, and in Orioles/MLB promotional content. No cash, merchandise, or additional benefits are awarded.

ELIGIBILITY: The Program is open only to legal residents of the United States who are eighteen (18) years of age or older at the time of submission. Each Winner must be legal resident of the United States who are eighteen (18) years of age (except in the case of residents of jurisdictions where the legal age of majority is greater than eighteen (18) years, such legal age of majority) and an active-duty service member or a U.S. military veteran. Employees, officers, and directors of RBR-Technologies (“Sponsor”), the MLB Entities, and their affiliates, and the immediate family members of such employees, officers, or directors (spouse, parent, child, sibling, and their respective spouses, regardless of residence) are not eligible. “MLB Entities” means the Office of the Commissioner of Baseball (“BOC”), its Bureaus, Committees, Subcommittees and Councils, MLB Advanced Media, L.P. (“MLB”), Major League Baseball Properties, Inc., The MLB Network, LLC, the Major League Baseball Clubs (“Clubs”), each of their parent, subsidiary, affiliated, and related entities, any entity which, now or in the future, controls, is controlled by, or is under common control with the Clubs or the BOC, and the owners, general and limited partners, shareholders, directors, officers, employees, and agents of the foregoing entities. The Program is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.

NOMINATION PROCESS: Nominations must be submitted online via the official Orioles digital form at Orioles.com/military during the applicable nomination period. Nominators must personally know the Winner and confirm that the Winner has provided express permission to be nominated and to have their name, image, and story used for in-game and promotional purposes. Nominations must be truthful, complete, and accurate. Submissions including sensitive personal, medical, or unrelated information will not be considered. No purchase or payment is required to submit a nomination.

SELECTION: Winners are selected at the sole discretion of Sponsor. Selection is based on service, story, and program fit. Only one Winner will be recognized per applicable home game, and submission of a nomination does not guarantee selection.

TICKETS AND BENEFITS: Selected Winners will receive four (4) tickets for Winner and three (3) guests and one (1) parking pass to a designated Baltimore Orioles home game (the “Recognition Package”). Up to sixty-seven (67) winners may be selected. The approximate retail value (“ARV”) of the Recognition Package is up to $400, depending on game date and seat location. Tickets and parking only are provided; no travel, lodging, meals, merchandise, cash, or other items are included. No cash value, substitution, exchange, or transfer of tickets or parking is permitted except at the sole discretion of the Baltimore Orioles.

TICKET CONDITIONS: Use of any Major League Baseball game/event/exhibition ticket is subject to the standard terms, conditions, and health and safety policies applicable to the ticket; see orioles.com/ticketback for details. Seat locations at the game/event/exhibition and, unless otherwise stated in the applicable description, exact game/event/exhibition date shall be determined in the sole discretion of Sponsor. Each Winner and their guest(s) must be of legal age of majority in their jurisdiction(s) of residence unless accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Major League Baseball game/event/exhibition dates and times are determined in the sole discretion of the BOC and/or the applicable Club and may be subject to change. The terms and conditions of the tickets awarded will govern in the event a legal game/event/exhibition, as defined by Major League Baseball, is not played or held due to weather conditions, an act of God, an act of terrorism, civil disturbance, or any other reason. Winner and their guest(s) agree to comply with all applicable ballpark and venue regulations. Sponsor and the MLB Entities reserve the right to remove or to deny entry to any Winner and/or their guest(s) who engage in a non-sportsmanlike or disruptive manner or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten, or harass any other person at the game/event/exhibition. Sponsor and the MLB Entities will not be responsible for weather conditions; acts of God; acts of terrorism; civil disturbances; local, state, or federal regulation, order, or policy; work stoppage; epidemic, pandemic, or any other issue concerning public health or safety; or any other event outside of their control that may cause the cancellation or postponement of any Major League Baseball game/event/exhibition. Major League Baseball game/event/exhibition tickets awarded may not be resold, offered for resale, or used for any commercial or promotional purpose whatsoever. Any such resale or commercial or promotional use may result in disqualification and ticket forfeiture, and may invalidate the license granted by the game/event/exhibition ticket.

GOVERNMENT EMPLOYEE ETHICS: Tickets and parking may constitute a “gift” under federal, state, or local ethics rules.Winners and guests who are government employees are responsible for ensuring acceptance is permitted under applicable regulations. A pay-your-own-way option will be offered if required.

CONSENT AND PUBLICITY: Selected Winners (and parent/guardian for minors) must provide consent for the Baltimore Orioles and MLB to use their name, likeness, and story for in-game recognition, promotional purposes, and related content. Winners are not obligated to participate in future promotions.

PRIVACY: Personal information collected through the nomination form will be used solely for program administration, selection, and recognition purposes, and in accordance with the Orioles and MLB privacy policies.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY: By participating, nominators and Winners release and hold harmless Sponsor, the MLB Entities, and their affiliates from any claims or liabilities arising from participation in the Program, nomination submissions, or use of the tickets and parking provided.

GOVERNING LAW: The Program and these Official Rules are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland and applicable federal law.

ARBITRATION; CLASS ACTION WAIVER: Any disputes arising out of or relating to the Program or recognition awarded shall be resolved by binding arbitration in Maryland before a single arbitrator, and participants and Winners waive the ability to bring claims as a class action.

PROGRAM ADMINISTRATION: The Baltimore Orioles are solely responsible for administering the Program and determining eligibility, selection, and recognition. The Orioles reserve the right to modify, suspend, or cancel the Program, or to substitute recognition or tickets, in the event of technical failures, public health emergencies, acts of God, or other circumstances beyond the Orioles’ control.
