Ticket Sellback FAQ

What is the ticket sellback program?

The all-new ticket sellback program gives you the option to return up to 30% of the games in your original Reserved Membership plan to receive the full value towards your 2027 renewal (greater or equal value of Reserved Membership).

This benefit will be available from Wednesday, February 11 through Monday, February 16. You’ll have access through a new online ticket exchange portal to select the games you wish to return. The full value including MD admissions tax will be credited towards your 2027 renewal.

How many tickets can I sellback?

You can return up to 30% of games in your plan during this limited window. Limits by plans are as follows:

  • Full Season (81-Game Plan): Return up to 24 of the games in your plan
  • Half Season (40-Game Plan): Return up to 12 of the games in your plan
  • Partial Season (20-Game Plan): Return up to 6 of the games in your plan

When selling back tickets, you are required to return all tickets on your account for the given game.

Can I sellback parking from my plan along with my tickets?

Yes, you will have the option to sellback parking for your reserved plan in a separate transaction and receive its full value towards your 2027 renewal.

Why are the values of my games different?

Tickets in your reserved package are variably priced. Depending on the classification of the game you are returning, you may see a difference in price between games in your plan. You are receiving the full value of the game selected.

What happens to the value of the tickets I sellback?

The full value of the tickets you sellback will be applied exclusively to your 2027 Birdland Membership renewal. You will not have access to this credit throughout the 2026 Regular or Postseason.

What happens to my credit if I do not renew for the 2027 season or want to make changes to my plan for the 2027 season?

Credit from tickets sold back is restricted to a 2027 Birdland Membership of equal or greater value, and will be forfeited if a 2027 Birdland Membership isn’t purchased.

After the sellback window closes, what are my options for tickets I can no longer use?

Once the ticket sellback window closes on Monday, February 16 you will no longer have access to sellback your tickets. You will receive access to our flexible exchange policy with exchanges going live by March 6. This allows you to exchange your tickets for another 2026 regular season game. Also, throughout the season, you can sell tickets via SeatGeek*, forward tickets to friends, or donate your tickets to military and community groups affiliated with the Orioles.

*Use of third‑party resale platforms is subject to those platforms’ terms, and the Orioles are not responsible for their performance, fees, or technical issues.

What happens if I later need tickets for the game I sold back?

Once you sellback your tickets, you will no longer have access to them. You would have the option to purchase or exchange into new tickets, but location would be based on what’s available at the time of purchase and you will not have access to the Guaranteed Gate Giveaway program.

Why do I not see the value of my MD admissions tax when I return my tickets?

During the sellback window, you will only see the face value of the tickets you are returning. After the window closes, you will also receive the value of the MD Admissions Tax. You can expect to be notified by email when the full amount is posted to your account. Credit from this program will not be accessible during the 2026 season and will only be eligible to be used towards your 2027 Membership.
