Scott called up; Yacabonis back to Triple-A

NEW YORK -- The Orioles continued a bullpen shuffle this weekend in New York, adding lefty to the roster prior to Sunday afternoon's finale in the Bronx. Scott, who took the roster place of -- who was recalled and pitched an inning on Saturday -- made his season debut.
Scott, Baltimore's No. 6 prospect per MLB Pipeline, gives the O's a third lefty in their bullpen to go with Rule 5 Draft pick and . He was originally slated to be part of Triple-A Norfolk's rotation this spring, but the Orioles decided he'd be better as a relief option for them this season. Scott allowed one run on two hits in 1 2/3 innings in the O's 8-7, 12-inning win Sunday.
The move keeps the Orioles with a three-man bench for now, as they placed on the disabled list prior to Saturday's game.
