The health and safety of our fans, players and employees is of utmost importance to the New York Yankees Organization. And, we are working hard to provide a safe environment for fans to enjoy baseball again. Please review the information below carefully before attending an event at Yankee Stadium.

COVID-19 TESTING/PROOF OF VACCINATION REQUIREMENTS

To begin the season, each Guest in attendance, 3 years and older, will be required to take a PCR or rapid antigen COVID-19 test with negative results or provide proof of a COVID-19 full vaccination on each game day in order to gain entry. Please note the required timeframes associated with each option so you can plan ahead accordingly. Guests, holding valid game tickets, who cannot present proof of either a negative COVID-19 test within the required timeframes or proof of a COVID-19 full vaccination will not be allowed inside Yankee Stadium. There is NO COVID-19 Testing available at Yankee Stadium.

Option No. 1: Proof of a Negative PCR COVID-19 Test

Guests need to present proof from a healthcare provider of a negative PCR COVID-19 test taken within 72 hours of the day of the Event you are attending along with an appropriate ID matching the name on the COVID-19 test result. Learn more »

Option No. 2: Proof of a Negative Rapid Antigen COVID-19 Test

Guests need to present proof from a healthcare provider of a negative rapid antigen COVID-19 test taken within six (6) hours of the scheduled start time of the Event you are attending along with an appropriate ID matching the name on the COVID-19 test result. Learn more »

Option No. 3: Proof of a COVID-19 Full Vaccination

Guests must be fully vaccinated, which means the day of the Event you are attending must be at least 14 days after your second dose of the Pfizer-BioNtech or Moderna COVID-19 vaccine or at least 14 days after your single dose of the Johnson & Johnson's Janssen COVID-19 vaccine. Learn more »

PROOF OF TEST RESULTS/VACCINATION DOCUMENTATION FOR ENTRY

COVID-19 Test Results:

Guests may utilize Health Pass by CLEAR to confirm your COVID-19 test results for the Event. Health Pass is a free service on the CLEAR mobile app that allows you to link your COVID-19 test results for seamless entry. Your Health Pass will appear on your iPhone or Android phone as a green or red result that you will show to Stadium security upon arrival. Enroll for free and have your Health Pass ready before the Event (https://clear.app.link/YankeeStadiumAttendee); all you’ll need is a government-issued ID and your lab provider login. You can also display your results on your iPhone or Android phone or present a printed copy. Please note that your results document must be directly from the healthcare provider that performed the test with an appropriate ID matching the name on the COVID-19 test result.

CLEAR

COVID-19 Vaccination Documentation:

You can display your vaccination documentation on your iPhone or Android phone or present a printed copy. Please note that your vaccination documentation must be in the form of the CDC card issued or a record of vaccination directly from the healthcare provider who administered the vaccine with an appropriate ID matching the name on the vaccination result.

MOBILE TICKETING

Due to health and safety concerns related to the pandemic, contactless technology will be implemented in many aspects of the Yankee Stadium experience. As such, all tickets will be delivered digitally/mobile-only and available on the Guests’ mobile devices via the MLB Ballpark app. No paper tickets will be issued.

GATE LOCATIONS

Yankee Stadium has three gate locations for entry and exit:

  • Gate 2, adjacent to left field: Enter via Jerome Avenue and East 164th Street
  • Gate 4, behind home plate: Enter via East 161st Street and Macombs Dam Bridge
  • Gate 6, adjacent to right field: Enter via East 161st Street and River Avenue

Until further notice, Gate 8 will not be available for entry and exit.

GATE OPENINGS

All Gates will open at 11 a.m. on Opening Day, Thursday, April 1.

For all other Limited Capacity Games through April 21, all gates will open 90 minutes prior to the scheduled start time of the game.

Gate openings are subject to change during inclement weather and for special events, doubleheaders, Opening Day, the Old-Timers' Day game and postseason play or at Yankee Stadium management's discretion. There may be a point during a game when Guests may only enter through the Yankee Stadium Lobby, adjacent to Gate 2.
