12-2-18: Orioles Host All Faiths Food Bank's Bowls of Hope at Ed Smith Stadium

All Faiths Food Bank's annual Bowls of Hope fundraiser drew more than 1,600 guests to Ed Smith Stadium.

Along with an opportunity to enjoy soup, bread and desserts provided by almost 50 restaurants, each guest selected a beautiful, handcrafted bowl - donated by local artists - to take home as a reminder of the empty bowls they helped fill for families in need.

Rows of decorated bowls stretched along the lengths of several tables.

The bowls were made by local artists who volunteered their talents.

Each bowl was unique.

A highlight of the event was sampling chef-inspired soups prepared by local restaurants and served from tables along the ballpark's lower concourse.

The Oriole Bird was the official sampler for the ballclub's contribution to the menu - a delicious Maryland style crab soup.

The ballpark provided ample space for guests to enjoy their lunch and perfect Sarasota weather. Guests enjoyed seating inside the home plate entrance.
