August 22, 2023 – Blue Jays vs. Orioles
Ryan Mountcastle extended his on-base streak to 27 straight games, the longest streak by an Orioles batter since Nick Markakis in 2009. James McCann extended his hitting streak to nine straight games, his longest hitting streak since 2018.
August 23, 2023 – Blue Jays vs. Orioles
The Orioles beat the Toronto Blue Jays, 7-0, to earn their eighth shutout of the season. Dean Kremer recorded his third straight quality start, throwing 6.0 scoreless innings and striking out five. Anthony Santander homered twice for his third multi-home run game this year and Ryan Mountcastle extended his on-base streak to 28 straight games.
August 24, 2023 – Blue Jays vs. Orioles
The Orioles beat the Blue Jays, 5-3, to win the series and move a season-high 31 games over .500. Kyle Gibson became the first O’s starter to work 8.0 innings this season, tying his career-high with 13 wins. Anthony Santander hit his first Eutaw Street home run of the year and ninth of his career, just two shy of the all-time record. Cedric Mullins homered, and Félix Bautista earned his 33rd save of the campaign to seal the win.
August 25, 2023 – Rockies vs. Orioles
The Orioles recorded their 39th comeback win of the season in a 5-4 victory over the Colorado Rockies. Gunnar Henderson homered in the eighth inning to give the Orioles the lead, his third go-ahead home run in the seventh inning-or-later this season. Shintaro Fujinami recorded his first win as an Oriole and Danny Coulombe earned a one-pitch save.
August 26, 2023 – Rockies vs. Orioles
The Orioles beat the Rockies, 5-4, to record their 81st win of the season. Kyle Bradish struck out eight batters over 6.0+ innings and Ryan Mountcastle recorded a two-run double in the sixth to give the O’s the lead. Yennier Cano threw a perfect ninth inning for his fifth save of the year.
August 27, 2023 – Rockies vs. Orioles
Ryan O’Hearn entered as a pinch hitter in the eighth inning and hit a game-tying home run on the first pitch of the at-bat. It was the first pinch-hit home run by an Oriole since Adley Rutschman on July 16, 2022. Cedric Mullins also homered, his 12th of the season.
August 28, 2023 – White Sox vs. Orioles
The Orioles beat the Chicago White Sox, 9-0, for their ninth shutout of the season. Grayson Rodriguez earned the win, throwing 6.0 scoreless innings allowing just one hit, while striking out six. Anthony Santander notched his 25th home run of the year, joining Orioles Legend and National Baseball Hall of Famer Eddie Murray as the only switch hitters in O’s history with back-to-back 25+ home run seasons.
August 29, 2023 – White Sox vs. Orioles
The Orioles used a five-run eighth inning to beat the White Sox, 9-3, securing the series win. Anthony Santander cleared the bases with a go-ahead three-run double in the seventh inning to give the O’s the lead. Santander, Adley Rutschman, Ryan Mountcastle, Austin Hays, Ramón Urías, and Ryan McKenna each recorded multiple hits in the win.
August 30, 2023 – White Sox vs. Orioles
Anthony Santander hit his 26th home run of the year in the first inning as the Orioles wrapped up their nine-game homestand.
